Tauferberg paikallistuu Niederthain tasangolla Ötzin laaksossa aivan hiihtohissin vieressä. Se tarjoaa ilmaisen Wi-Fi:n ja parvekkeen kaikissa huoneissa. Kaikki pesäpaikat ja huoneistot on sisustettu tirolilaistyyliin, ja niissä on satelliitti-tv, oleskelualue ja hiustenkuivaaja. Uudella spa-alueella on suomalainen sauna, bio-sauna, höyrysauna ja infrapunasauna. Suuri, etelään päin oleva aurinkoterassi on Tauferbergin julkisivun puolella. Ravintolassa on tarjolla perinteisiä tirolilaisia ruokia. Tauferberg sisältää 1550 metriä merenpinnan yläpuolella, ja sitä ympäröivät Stubain Alpit ja Ötztalin Alpit. Hiihtoladut ja patikointireitit kulkevat aivan majoituspaikan ulkopuolelta.

"If you want to be far from the crowds in pastoral, beautiful village, surrounded by green meadows and mountains, in comfortable hotel, which worth much more than 3 stars - this is the place. The hosts are very nice, our room was superb, breakfast and dinner were very good. The spa area is small, but very nice."

"This was our second stay in this hotel. Everything was perfect - the room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, nicely decorated and offered a spendid view of the mountains. The hotel staff were exceptionally attentive, helpful and very professional. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. In our opinion, the hotel should have an additional star as the quality is that of a four-star hotel. We hope very much to return !"

"Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und modern.. wir hatten einen schönen Ausblick direkt über die Loipen vor dem Hotel. Der Wellnessbereich war auch sehr schön und es gab Liegen zum Entspannen."
"Etwas schade war, dass beim Abendessen nicht von vornherein eine Vegetarische Alternative bereitgestellt wird. Nach Rückfrage wurde dann eine Alternative angeboten, bei einem so tollen Hotel würde ich allerdings auf der Menükarte von vornherein auch vegetarische Gerichte erwarten."
"Sehr ruhige Lage in Mitten von Bergen. Wunderschön. Vor dem Hotel ist eine beleuchtete Langlauf Loipe. Abfahrt Ski ist auch möglich. Sölden erreicht man mit dem Auto in 35 Minuten. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen ist lecker. Wir hatten Halbpension."

"Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben uns im Hotel wie zu Hause sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war top, vom Ein- und Auscheck und die Halbpension. Der Empfang und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen!!! Es ist bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal, wir werden bestimmt noch mal vorbei kommen."

You can get wide range of authentic local wines from the hotel with reasonable price and nicely packed. In summer it should be a nice location to discover the local wine region."

"We really liked the location — only a 3-minute drive to the ski lift. Parking was convenient, and the views from the windows were very nice. The apartment was warm and cozy. The kitchen-living area with the sofa and TV was especially comfortable, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The bathroom was great, with a good shower and the existing bathtub, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we liked everything. If the existing bathtub were converted into a jacuzzi, it would be an absolutely top-level bonus and would make the stay even more exceptional."
