"Easy communication with the owner. The room is relatively small in comparison to the other accommodations, but not a big deal, it's a traditional house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend for 1-2 nights."

The acces road is quite steep and parking might be challenging. Quite a lot of mosquitos during the night.

"This place and it's owner offer truly valuable experience, it is very quiet, clean and comfortable. Very close to the nature, snorkeling beach, horses. Owner is very communicative, helpful, open-minded person. I can highly recommend the breakfast. If you don't like all inclusive monsters and want to place that has 'soul' it is for you. We'd love to get back to this place."

"The location is amazing ! The gardens are beautiful and full of flowers and birds. We loved hanging out by the pool, with a lovely view down to the ocean and also spending time on the porch of our casita. The porch doubled the size of the living space and we enjoyed being out there especially in the mornings and the evening. This is a beautiful property that is very tranquil and relaxing. Jessica took great cafe of us and was a wonderful host. Highly recommend."

We loved sleeping with the ceiling fan at night. Cross ventilation would be really helpful and a fan in the kitchen. It could get really hot in the kitchen area. Otherwise, we loved this property and it was nice to get up into the hills and away from the beach at night. Truly and unique and special property.

"The owner, Margie, sent comprehensive details for entry to the property and made us very welcome on arrival. Good room (4), lovely breakfast, friendly staff, communal rooms to sit in and all you need for the beach provided. The beach, restaurants and a supermarket all within walking distance."

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

"Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"

One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking the fortress, which made mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, showing genuine hospitality and making sure everything was perfect. Communication was smooth and helpful from start to finish. The apartment is also very affordable for what it offers, with reliable and fast WiFi, making it a great choice for both leisure and work stays. "The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"

Poderia ter ovos no café da manhã (mexido, frito ou cozido), acho que fez falta isso no café, mas não desabona em nada o excelente custo benefício do hotel.

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.
