First-gondolihissiaseman vieressä Grindelwaldin keskustassa sijaitseva Alte Post -putiikkihotelli tarjoaa pienen spa-alueen ja perinteisen ruokailutilan. Kaikissa huoneissa on parveke, jolta avautuvat ihastuttava näkymät huiputstoon. Ilmainen Wi-Fi ja kaapeli-tv ovat huoneiden vakiovarusteita. "Loistava sijainti aivan kylän keskustassa. Parkkipaikka hotellin vieressä. Huone oli tilava ja siisti, yksinkertaisesti mutta sijaintiin sopivasti sisustettu. Sänky ja vuodevaatteet mukavat! Hyvä aamupala."

"Some of the rooms had a key that had to be exchanged every time depending if you want to enter the room or if you want to enter the main building or use the ski locker, which was a bit unpractical. The staff at reception was treating us with correctness, but sometimes we thought they could be more friendly. The staff serving breakfast were friendly and very professional, they prepared delicious scrambled eggs for us."
