The family-run Hotel Grimsel enjoys a quiet location in the village of Obergesteln in the Obergoms municipality, just 300 metres from the Train Station, between the Alpine passes of Furka, Grimsel and Nufenen. It offers you a restaurant with a terrace. Garage parking for motorbikes is offered free of charge. All rooms have, free WiFi, a TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Breakfast is served every morning and you can taste typical Swiss specialities prepared from seasonal ingredients in the restaurant. Half board is available as well. A ski and bicycle storage room and a drying room for clothes is available. You can rent board games or read a book from the hotel's library. In winter you can start cross-country skiing right from Hotel Grimsel. A free pick-up service from Obergesteln Train Station can be organised on request to assist you with your luggage. The Source du Rhone Golf Course is 600 metres away and the Rhone Glacier is 17 km away from the property. The Aletsch Ski Region 20 km away is easily reachable by train.

"We had two nights here whilst touring on our motorbike and booked a bigger room with balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, plenty of parking and a nice restaurant and bar area. Our room was fantastic! Very spacious with a big shower and a sofa area with the added bonus of a wrap around balcony. The food was very good offering traditional dishes along with a whole Thai menu was was delicious."
