"The girl on the desk was so friendly and helpful. She gave us great advice for our travel the following day and gave us complimentary tickets for our train to the airport the following morning. There was water in the lobby which was much needed and appreciated. There is just an extra touch with a hotel that leaves water in your room and a kettle for tea and coffee. It hints at a generosity that permeates the whole experience and this was the case in The new Midi. The bed was also extremely comfortable as was the temperature in the room. Lovely soaps and lotions were complimentary too. A brilliant location.. close to everything.. Great value for money!"

"I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable, though on the smaller side (16 m²). I didn’t have breakfast, but the hotel’s location is convenient and the atmosphere is calm. Fresh apples are always available. Overall, a great choice, I’d happily stay here again!"

"I’m a regular guest at The New Midi and its sister hotel The Ambassador, and both are exceptional. The New Midi has a perfect location—just a few minutes’ walk from the city center, the lake, and Geneva’s main shopping street. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and offers great comfort. Service is always efficient and friendly, and the staff do their best to arrange early check-in or late check-out whenever possible. "Great location very close to the lake and it was lovely to walk along the promenade and take in the sights. The room was a decent size and had air con that worked which was appreciated as it was hot the day we arrived."

"Saturday early hours it is noisy with people leaving clubs and bars but that's the same for most cities I guess. Sunday night was quieter as the clubs were closed."

"The location is perfect. You can reach the train station within minutes on foot. The room was clean and spacious enough with a comfortable bed. Though a bit dated, the bathroom was spotless and spacious as well. Staff is kind and helpful, doing their job at their best. If you are into having your morning coffee as soon as you wake up, there's a coffee machine in the room. I'll have to emphasize the fact that this hotel gets a five star for its location. We had a lot of people to meet and things to do in the center of the city and we could easily come and go, drop things off, grab an umbrella, take a quick shower, change to evening clothes..."
