"Gmundnerberghaus is a hidden gem. The cottage is incredibly tidy, cozy, and well-maintained. The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful escape."

"Chata nr 3 😄Czysto, fajna lokalizacja, blisko stoku. Domek czysty. Pani przemiła. Duży plus za możliwość pobytu ze zwierzętami."

Jedyne czego mi brakuje - odpinana słuchawka pod prysznicem.

"It’s super secluded! Very quiet. Had facilities from the 90s for kids and family to roam, cycle or just simply walk by the river. The family running the place are very welcoming. Great for fam with young kids"

The property is generally old, not that it’s not well kept but I think it’s kept as best as they can.

"Really comfy, tidy, well equipped place. The hosts were very friendly, they even contacted us with a neighbor of them who gave us a (paid) tour to different destinations. The supermarket around the corner was very handy, it helped us reducing costs during the trip. On the other hand, we used public transportation, but I would suggest to rent a car if you are a group of 3 or 4. We had a really good stay, so we highly recommend Casa Chiquito :)"

Nothing, everything was fine. Just for the sake of continuous improvement, it’d be good if the draining of the shower could be improved but I can imagine it is significant work (it is certainly not critical at all, though).

"When we received the keys, we were given all the necessary information about our stay. The owner was very kind and even offered us an apartment with a better view. I really appreciate that what I saw in the photos was actually even nicer in reality. The chalet looks exactly like in the pictures (including the equipment) and so does the surrounding area. The location is absolutely perfect for hiking trips – if you want to visit the Logar Valley or Velika Planina, it’s about a 90-minute drive by car. I also appreciated the convenient parking right next to the chalet."

"Aamupala oli hyvä ja runsas; tuoretta leipää, munia, hedelmiä, leivoksia, maitoa, piimää, jne. Proteiinia olisi voinut olla enemmän. Aamupala tarjoiltiin mökkiin, mikä oli mukava juttu. Sijainti oli super kaunis ja yksityinen, mutta kaukana kaikesta. Täytyy olla auto, jos haluaa liikkua. Check-in ja check-out oli super helppoja, avaimet noudettiin sekä palautettiin lukittuun boksiin."

Lattia oli tahmea koko majoituksen ajan, sukat menivät nopeasti likaiseksi. Kenties pesuainetta on kerrostunut lattiaan? Majoituksen sijainti on melko korkealla, minkä takia siellä oli viileämpi kuin alhaalla meren rannassa. Joulukuun lopussa oli niin viileä, ettei tullut uima-allasta käytettyä ollenkaan - harmi, koska se näytti houkuttelevalta.

Guests not respecting the quiet hours

"This accommodation is absolutely wonderful! The house is beautiful and very clean. Even though there is no air conditioning, it stays surprisingly cool. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also dogs, cats, and chickens on the property, which we really enjoyed. They are super sweet. The property manager, Jésus, is such a kind person. He is always available and happy to help if you need anything. I would definitely recommend this place."

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy. Every morning around six, the school bus drives through the main street honking loudly. There are also a lot of trucks passing by, which can be pretty noisy. On top of that, the rooster loves standing right next to the bedroom window to wake you up. Since there is a school next door, you will also hear music and kids early in the morning.

Le petit chemin qui mène jusqu'à l'hébergement est un peu difficile à emprunter. Surtout avec les bagages.

Rory and I came across this listing one evening while planning a birthday trip to Spain, it turned out to be the most incredible celebration delivering way above what we’d expected. From the rolling Andalusian hills to the perfectly equipped family home that greeted us, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Some of the highlights were the last 10 minutes off road in the SUV we’d picked up at the airport to reach the farmhouse, the humongous fireplace we cooked on must nights, the short walk up to the swimming pool area which felt like being in a completely different property, the silence and light. Ángeles is a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we might need including a bottle of her brother’s delightful home made wine. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, you just must book it!"

"The view was really good with the little terrace in front of the room, I like to have a view. AC was powerful. It was also very very quiet. No noise except the roosters."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.

"Die Wohnung hat einen schöne Einrichtung und viel Potenzial! Der Pool in der anderen Anlage, den man benutzen darf, ist wunderbar."

Der Lärm nachts von der Straße ist extrem. Die Matratze ist eine Katastrophe. Terrassen Möbel fehlen. Extrem hellhörig auch zu der Wohnung nebenan. Die Pfanne müsste dringend ersetzt werden.

"The wood house is nice and it also has a private garden with a table. All the location is independent from the main house and it is in the center of the village."

It is not easy to communicate with the owners, English is a bit of a problem... The kitchen space is quite limitated.

Electricity was eratic and generator back up only available for 3 hours per day

"Peaceful, tranquil and only a few minutes walk from one of the world's best beaches. If you're looking at getting back to nature then this is the place."
