Just 100 meters from Baquedano Metro Station, Hostal Río Amazonas offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and TV sets. We are in the middle of 3 great neighborhoods, each at 10 min walking distance: Bellavista (nightlife), Lastarria (gastronomy) and Barrio Italia (Antiques and design). Santiago’s historic town center is at 30 min walking or 10 min in public transport. Decorated in lively colors, rooms at Río Amazonas are very bright. All of them feature heating and private bathrooms. If you wish, you can request breakfast as an extra. Bread, homemade jam, juice, fruits, yogurt, cheese, egg, coffee, tea and milk. Drinks, coffee and food can be ordered at the bar. Excursions can be booked at the tour desk, and there is a library featuring books in several languages. "I really loved this place and I stayed 3 times during my monthly LATAM trip. Is close to metro and to funicular. And is close to different nice restaurants and to the river. The staff is super helpful and kind. And my lovely dog Ginny that you can often find sleeping under the table. It takes 20 minutes to go by taxi to the airport"
