"Right in the centre of San Juan Del Sur. No AC but I had a balcony which was accessed by double sliding doors. I left them open day and night with the constant high winds of the area keeping the room fresh and cool."

"The house was great and even nicer than in the photos. It fit my large family of 8 perfectly. There was a 2nd living room upstairs which was perfect for when we wanted to send the kids upstairs and they could watch something and we could watch something. Was close to everything we needed with easy access to everywhere we were going. Joel was great at giving us some recommendations of sights to see while we were there and added a stop to our list of places because of this. Close to the house is a nice little river bed to walk and explore with beautiful trees and views. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend Casa Isabella 45. ♡"

We were opposite an incredibly noisy disco which made it impossible for a light sleeper to get any rest. This is a shame.

"We enjoyed at stay at Rest House, the owners were really lovely and even picked us up from the port which was a nice personal touch! It’s a short walk into town, and the beds were comfy! The AC worked well (although you did have to pay an extra $5 per day to use it), and they helped us to book a motorcycle which was great and it was a fantastic price!! A great place for a short stay!"

We were one of the first guests to stay here so we didn’t have too much expectation! We were put in the room downstairs, not the one in the photos which was a bit of a shame as it didn’t have a TV or the nice balcony to sit on and didn’t have hot water, but that’s common in the area so we didn’t mind 😊 My suggestions to improve would be to perhaps have a mirror in the room/bathroom, some more pillows, and perhaps a nice warm lamp to make it a bit more homely as the white lights were a bit aggressive at night! But this place is still great for a short stay ☺️
