"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

"Location for us was wonderful. Nice views, quiet village, close to a few beautiful hikes. Spacious apartment with a kitchen that had everything you needed (no oven, no foods like salt/sugar/butter/tea/coffee, so bring your own) and a large balcony. Kind host with sweet dog."

"The owner was very nice. He made sure that we’re ok and even offered us some food and wine because he was worried that we were hungry😁 It’s good place to stay if you’re interested more in exploring the city and looking for accommodation just to sleep and rest. Nothing more nothing less."

Choose this place only if you have car or love to hike. Unfortunately, we didn’t check and it turned out that to come to this place you need to go up all the time, which is like 3 km. We didn’t have car so we walk there. Of course it’s just our oversight, but i wish it would be written in the description. Nevertheless the views were stunning.

The owner's agony on low power consumption is obvious. 1) the fuse controling TV & AirConditioner was off - had to do a bit of troubleshooting in order to get the TV operational 2) lighting in the room extremely low 3) stove required ~45 minutes to prepare one cup of coffee. The road to get to the property is suitable for one way traffic. If you crossed with another vehicle one of the two would have to reverse. Pet friendliness was limited to the owner's pets and was not extended to the guests' pets. The owner resented the fact that I traveled with my pet noticing that I should have informed up-front.

The location was at the foot of the hill, which was a bit disappointing. The uphill walk did not get me much higher and I could not progress further along that path.

"Nice, clean and comfy accommodation in a quiet area. The owners were very nice and helpful. Excellent facilities with a garden and a fireplace - there was a fire every day :-)"

"The place feels like home and is just on the edge of the national park. The owner made sure I had everything I needed, even though he wasn't there for the majority of my stay. Suds and Didi that help at the guest house were so amazing. Very caring and friendly and made sure I was entertained during my stay. Didi's cooking is the best I had during my travels in Nepal. This place might not be for people that like comfortable hotels, but I loved staying in a mud house and being this close to nature. I highly recommend it."
