The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Unfortunately two scorpions got into the flat and we were not sure how. Fridge leaked water. Other than this the flat is really good.

"The host was exceptional. I had passport issues and the lady helped me get to a number of different embassies, and also drove me outn of hours back to the airport when my airline changed flight. Outstanding service. Note that there are no facilities onsite, so come equipped."

There is no place to get fresh tea or coffee at the accommodation or in the village unless you bring your own. A very small inconvenience because there is a great restaurant next to the monastery a few minutes drive away.

"Cute place with lots of quirky garden ornaments everywhere. Our little house was everything we needed. No English spoken which was fun. Breakfast was very filling. You definitely need a car to get about, which was fine for us as we are on a road trip."
