The daily breakfast was superb and Fred’s courteous, kind and professional manor was second to none. The location is great for a quiet time from the hustling and bustling of the town, while only a stones throw away from some lovely cafes, eateries and convenience stores as well."

"The property is amazing and beautiful. Our room was perfect, comfortable, elegant and spacious with a garden view. The Maison de la Mole is set in a private, tranquil and beautiful large property less than 5 minutes car ride into the heart of the historic town. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The view of the trees, gardens and listening to the birds while enjoying a generous and delicious breakfast on the terrace was exactly what we needed. The hosts Marie Line and Bernard are friendly and kind hosts who do everything to make you feel comfortable and help you to ensure your stay is one to remember. We certainly will remember our stay here and hope to return again. We highly recommend La Maison de la Mole."

We visited Luna Parc, the beach, Royan Market, Le Palmyre Zoo, and La Citadelle on Ile de Oleron.
