"Stayed 2 nights at La Maison Rabelais and really enjoyed my time here. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and spoke perfect English, which made everything easy from check-in to recommendations around town. We had forgotten to request twin beds when booking, and although they couldn’t separate the bed, they kindly offered us 2 separate blankets which we appreciated. The location is excellent — walking distance to the city center and the main attractions in Amboise, making it very convenient to explore on foot. Breakfast was also very good with a nice spread for 19 euros. I also liked that guests can refill their water bottles, and the hotel clearly makes an effort toward sustainability by offering many amenities only on demand."
