"Tunnelmallinen paikka. Sijainti hyvä, lyhyt kävelymatka keskustaan/katedraalille. Hyvä aamiainen. Huoneisto oli hyvin varusteltu omatoimista ruokailua varten ja vaikka pidempääkin majoittumista ajatellen. Hyvä sänky ja puhtaat liinavaatteet. Ystävällinen ja palvelualtis omistaja. Takapihan terassi viihtyisä."

"The welcome we received and the beautiful hidden gem of a garden filled with the scent of jasmine. The host was also very accommodating and guided us to the start of the voie verte next morning so we could continue our cycle trip. It was also within easy walking distance of the town centre."

"This was the perfect place for us, a short walk into the City 10 mins. La Salamandre was a little haven to come back to after a day out, it had such a relaxing, quirky vibe and our host was lovely and welcoming. We would recommend paying for breakfast, it was a nice way to start the day and go and take some time to sit outdoors in their garden area.... the smell of the jasmine was just wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to eat. We really enjoyed our stay (we booked the superior suite) well worth it if it's in budget."

"There wasn't anything we didn't like... but did get a little surprise at learning there is no toilet door in the room... it is simply partitioned off! We stayed in the superior suite which is worth it for the views outside."

"We had an apartment there for 1 night, which had a separate entrance, 2 bedrooms and a WC which according to Booking.com it didn't have. It's a short walk into town where there are plenty of places to choose from for food and drink."

"Parking could be a problem. The nearby streets were full, but 5 minutes walk away, towards the centre, is a free public car park."

"Excellent facilities , fabulous design , quirky Gallic French influence in a bohemian style , warm and inviting property set within the boundaries of an influential Georgian style house and gardens . Exceptional consideration given for the comfort of guests with Stephan ensuring our stay was seemless and enjoyable. Would recommend highly without hesitation ."

"The property is like home from home the owners are so lovely and accommodating, I messaged ahead of time to see if there was somewhere we could leave our bags until checkin time as we are coming at 10 he advised there was. We arrived at 9.40 walked in to the most amazing smell from breakfast the accommodation is so homely he let us into our room and check in. The room was massive so much space, breakfast was beautiful with a wide variety to choose from. We will definitely keep this as an option if we return"
