"We were travelling by bicycle and safe cycle storage was available. We had pre-booked a table in the hotel restaurant, and had a very good meal. The town itself is very quiet with only one other restaurant that we could see and no grocery shop, only a bakery. No mobile phone coverage in the village at all - a night sky observatory has cut off all signals and tv sketchy via wi-fi. Hotel proprietor very accommodating."

"I would describe L'antilope as informal and friendly.Reception was closed when we first arrived with notes about room allocations and keys in the doors.Staff were very friendly and welcoming.Interior decor was attractive , well furnished, comfortable beds, large bathroom.We were in the studio which had a fridge, sink, hob, table and chairs. It would have been great for a longer stay but without Wi Fi (a regional problem) Family room was hot with only one working fan but attractively furnished, double rooms were good.Restaurant was excellent, good menus, including childrens' ,good wine list."
"Breakfast was mixed, good croissants, pain choc.s, juice, some yogurt, fruit, bread. Would have liked cereal other than packs of sugared flakes, coco pops, perhaps muesli &. We had to ask for bowls, not a big deal, but no-one around initially. The dog is friendly and sweet but not welcomed in the dining room by everyone.( It is permitted to have dogs in French restaurants so be aware if you dislike this!) There was the occasional pile of dog mess in the car park, nearly trodden in by two family members when getting out of their car.Easy to clear up!"

"The host was extremely kind and helpful from before I arrived. Communication was excellent despite the language barrier. A beautiful, secluded property not far from the motorway and perfectly air conditioned, which my dog and i really appreciated. The jacuzzi bath and massive shower are a great feature. A real spot of peace and Zen for people who need a bit of relaxation on their journey. I highly recommend this property."
"The hosts were very nice and very accommodating, even though we had a long flight delay and ended up arriving very late. As an extra bonus, they have also a super cute and friendly golden retriever. We had to telework a couple of days and it was lovely to do so in the yard where there was plenty of shade. The accommodation is located at the centre of the lovely and quiet village of Tavel. Despite being a small village they have some great restaurants (both lunch and dinner) and a nice bakery very close by, as well as several wineries, known for their spectatular Rosés. The location of the village is nice if you want to to combine some peace and quiet and epic night skies (one forgets how starry the night can be without light pollution!) with daytrips to Avignon, Pont de Garde, Nimes and beyond. The hostess is happy to share a pdf map she made with all the sights nearby."

"Wonderful stay at l'eau Vive for two nights this September. A beautiful home created with love. Great location for the Loire, particularly if you plan to cycle. Delicious food as well, if you like your food you will enjoy the cooking here. The host is an excellent chef as well as being multilingual so communication was never a problem."
