"We travelled by bicycle but unfortunately we had a puncture which required a bicycle mechanic to repair. Our hosts drove us to the bicycle shop where it was repaired promptly and then drove us back to Cheminard where we continued on our way.Excellent service from our hosts."

"Die Gastfreundschaft! Es wurde auf Wunsch sowohl ein Abendessen als auch ein Frühstück angeboten. Ich konnte früher einchecken, mein Zimmer war herrlich kühl, mein Fahrrad hatte einen Platz und sogar kleine Unterhaltungen auf Englisch war Zeit."

"I've enjoyed my stay here immensely! The flat is absolutely perfect: it has a cozy Parisian atmosphere, the balcony is fantastic, and everything suited me very well. And the location?! 😍 Also the street is very pretty, with a great café and lovely shops, but it’s still very calm. You shouldn’t hesitate—book your stay as well! Even the communication was very nice and clear. (I don't understand the negative comments. If you want a luxurious stay, book a hotel. If you want to experience the local atmosphere and have a really enjoyable time, you'll be very happy here.)"

"It was a lovely little cottage, in a peaceful setting, with an outdoor dining area and a BBQ we could use. The hosts owned a basketball court which they were kind enough to let the children use. There is nearby free parking. There's a well-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and washing machine. Bléré has a small riverside beach, and it was central enough to the Loire region to reach most places within 30mins or so. You do need your own car/means of transport."

"Everything. The property has all you could possibly want to enjoy a very comfortable holiday. It is very spacious with a huge bedroom suite on the ground floor and 3 good sized rooms upstairs. A large open plan kitchen/ dining and living room area are great to relax and get away from the midday and afternoon heat - air conditioning throughout the property was especially welcome! The position of the property is perfect, it is set within the countryside so is very peaceful with only the sound of birds and fruit pickers in the neighbouring fields, but it’s also within very easy reach of the local towns and villages (5 minutes by car to nearest Carrefour). The pool was fantastic during the day and the hot tub great in the evening to chill and enjoy a beer or glass of wine! In summary, we had a wonderful time at Mas Puig, the host was very helpful and made some great recommendations, and we won’t hesitate to return at some point"

"This turned out to be an iconic penthouse apartment in an iconic building from the time c100 years ago when Nice was developing as a glamorous holiday location. It was even featured in a film we saw about Nice in the nearby museum! We loved the terrace, the sea views, the beautiful stairways and proximity to the excellent tram system."
