"Aamupala oli varmaankin ranskalainen eli melko huono, kahvikuppi, tuoremehulasi, croisant ja pala patonkia. Pysäköinti olisi ollut kiva jos olisi onnistunut hotellin edessä mutta auto täytyi jättää muutaman sadan metrin päähän toiselle parkkipaikalle"

"Nice big room with a comfortable bed, in a great location at the river. The staff were very friendly. We had a lovely lunch in their restaurant as well."

"Perfect location, the room was ok, very good shower and having AC is a big plus. Our room was at the back, so the view was not much basically looking at a cliff. That said in this sunny weather it helped keeping the room temperature down. A room in the front would have one of the better view in town. The staff was great and the terrace bar/restaurant is good."

"It’s strange that the reception closes so early, as the bar is open in to the evening. As others have said the elevator is closed in the evening and night, which can be an issue for some people. I did not like the bed, that is a personal view. That said the bed was clean and in good condition."

"Location excellent, across from the river. Room light, airy, spotlessly clean. Air conditioning was a godsend during heatwave. Breakfast nice, but not “wow”. Lunch was very good, on terrace by river. Staff good, particularly Gwen, who really looked after us."

"Since our previous visit ownership has changed. Couple of things were a bit disappointing: We could no longer have breakfast by the river, which we loved on previous visits. We understand the practicalities, but it was a highlight of our previous stays. The whole place closes at 7pm, and entry is by door code. No access to lift after that, so stairs a slight problem for us “oldies”. Other than that, Le Coligny seems to be running well."

"Room size was big and comfortable bed and nice shower. Location in Brantome was why I initially chose it. It had a lift to floor lower than our floor where room was so some stairs to climb."

"Communication could have been better. Was not told that there was a theme park set up right out front that went to 11pm at night. Hotel should have advised us when they found this out and offered opportunity to cancel. We had to park further away and lug our luggage to the hotel. Not great. Could also hear the noise from festivities outside."

"The lady who runs the place deserves a medal. She really made our anniversary trip special. Great value for money. Right on the river. It's a 3* place, so if you want to spend 200 Euro, go to the Abbey instead. But this hotel is clean, perfect location, great staff. 10/10"

"They stored my bike safely. Breakfast was good and the church bells did not ring overnight to keep me awake. Big comfy room and a big bathroom. Helpful staff who communicated well beforehand."
