Le Cosy

"The apartment is conveniently located in the old part of the town not far from the restaurants, bars and shops. There is a boulangerie only 2 minutes walk away and a very good one near the harbour about 10 walk minutes away. Car parking is on the street and is first-come, first-served, but we never had a problem parking close to the apartment. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay. There was a welcome pack of prepackaged pastries. Calais is a lovely town to explore with some fine old buildings. The Lace museum is very interesting. The beach is lovely. So many people rush away from Calais after arriving by ferry or Channel Tunnel, but it is well worth a 2 or 3 day stopover. Just down the coast are some good walks at Escalles."

"Unfortunately, the WiFi didn't work, and despite several messages with the host, it couldn't be resolved. The TV didn't work either, as it needed the internet. Fortunately not a critical issue for us as we'd bought e-Sims for our phones, but it would have been annoying for anyone without data roaming or relying on the WiFi for work. That aside, everything else was fine, and we'd recommend the apartment to others."

"Perfect location. A short walk to various restaurants and bars. Very clean and tidy apartment. The owner answered questions very quickly and was very accommodating. There was even breakfast and drinks left for our arrival. Would stay again."

"Great location 2 mins from the main area with bars and restaurants. Free parking in and around the area. The area is very quiet with no noise or disturbances. Just a short walk to the beech as well. The apartment was very nicely laid out fully equipped should you decide to cook for yourself."

"Bed was a little uncomfortable. It felt like it had been slept in a lot, and so it lacked support, but it was minimal. Towels were very small. No salt in the apartment (that I could find) and WiFi was a little patchy. But these are all minimal things, over all it was a great stay."

"Excellent, quiet location for our overnight stay after coming over on the Eurotunnel. Free parking outside the property and easy walking distance to decent restaurants. Exceptionally well equipped comfortable apartment, one of the best we’ve stayed in for kitchen equipment, with some special touches such as the breakfast provisions, little chocolates and a bottle of beer. They were much appreciated."

"Took us a few attempts to understand how to get in the main door but that was probably just us! The vestibule and stairs leading up to the apartment were shabby which concerned us but the apartment was very clean bright and airy."
