"Tranquility in a beautiful area of France. Lovely rooms in an unusual, amazing property and a super hostess. Garden with various seating areas and use of pool. We stayed one night (have on two previous occasions too) as stop over on journey to southern France but would happily have stayed for longer."

"If I could give this review 100 stars it would not be enough. Laurence and Claude were the best of hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Allowing me to join them for a cold beer or iced water after a long hot day was heaven. They are beautiful people inside and out. The room was perfect with every need covered. The pool was great to relax in after a day of touring. Centrally placed around 30 minutes by bus to Bordeaux and 50 minutes to Cap Ferret. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from La Maison Du Las. Nearest village is St Jean D'Illac. 5 minutes by bus or 5km walk. All amenities you need and a couple of good restaurants. L'Altico served me well for 2 nights."

"This place had the wow factor - it was everything you would want from a countryside B&B. Beautiful entrance, pool, lovely spacious and traditional French whilst being modern. Beds were comfy and then linen was too. Breakfast was delicious and served outside where the planting really just made it feel like a movie ❤️ We only stopped for a night en route to Paris from the south and wish we could’ve stayed a few days to explore the nearby towns and make the most of the pool. The hosts were really welcoming - could not have asked for more!"

"The balcony was a great extra. We used it quite a bit. All mod cons. The owner met us at the apartment and was very polite and helpful. The bed was comfy. Good location with a fab supermarket a short walk across the park."

"Located on its own estate in the Luberon hills this is a superb place to wake up to. Very convenient for exploring the area. Great restaurants locally but we were in the dead time of year so had to be quick to get a table at those restaurants which were open Our rooms were very well decorated with all facilities expected. Breakfast was superb and had the weather been better it would have been wonderful to sit outside to have it (but we were November) Other facilities at the property were good and in better weather could have been fun Hosts were very pleasant and assisted as necessary."
