On the cliff tops at Porth, the Kenton is just 5 minute walk from Porth beach. It features a lounge and bar area with panoramic sea views. Most rooms at the Kenton have sea views overlooking the bay and Porth Island. All rooms have a TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and bathroom with a shower. The Kenton has licensed bar and games room with billiards and darts. Newquay town centre, its famous beaches and Watergate bay is a 5 minutes’ drive or 30 minutes’ walk from the Kenton. The cliff path offers coastal walks with stunning views. Well-known for surfing and water sports, Newquay and Watergate bay also has a lively nightlife. Newquay Zoo, the Blue Reef Aquarium and the Lane Theatre are all within 10 minutes’ drive.

"Aivan ihastuttava vanha majatalo kävelymatkan päässä Yorkin keskustasta! Sisustus oli upea ja parkkipaikka talon takapihalla. Aamiainen oli melko suppea, mutta sitäkin parempi laadultansa - muista tilata lämpimät ruuat listalta! Majatalon omistaja (?) oli vanhempi herttainen rouva joka oli todella ystävällinen ja piirsi meille kartankin ja kertoi miten pääsemme keskustaan! Aamiaista oli tarjoilemassa maailman söpöin, kohtelias nuori poika myöskin! Huone oli todella siisti ja sängyt mukavat. Alakerrassa on myöskin olohuoneen tapainen yleinen tila, missä oli ihana vain oleskella. Kuulin myöskin, että koirat ovat tervetulleita ja omistajalla olikin oma koira paikalla!"

"Getting keys from the wall safe was easy. The place itself was lovely and quiet. Comfortable beds. Good heating. Nice small kitchen. Two bathrooms, one en-suite. Cosy living room. Good range of channels on the TV. Plus you are only a 10 minute walk from the Minster and old town, and only 20 minutes walk from the train station."
"Nice location right by the high street close to pubs and restaurants great feature have the suite with a bath in the bedroom as well as have a walk in shower in the bathroom soak and watch tv on the big tv it’s basically a posh studio flat. Great choice of breakfast if you go for it."
