"Aivan ihana paikka. Huoneeni oli siisti ja viihtyisä. Kaunis näköala uima-altaalle ja puutarhaan. Kotoisa tunnelma ensi hetkestä lähtien. Vassilis, Revekka ja Athina juttelivat aina nähdessään ja antoivat hyviä vinķkejä minne mennä. He olivat hyvin auttavaisia ja todella välittävät asiakkaistaan. Retket pystyi myös varaamaan edullisesti hotellilta ja bussi nouti hotellin edestä. Täydellinen majoituspaikka. Rantaan on noin 250m, lähimpään minimarkettiin saman verran ja siellä on myös bussipysäkki. Suurempaan supermarkettiin( Synca) on noin 900m."

"The place is not a 5-star guest house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way I was treated. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, and the facilities were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in across Africa. My bed was even a TV bed — I connected my MP3 player and listened to music through the bed speakers… great experience! The location is excellent, with the airport just a stone’s throw away. The staff even went out to buy takeaway food for me when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I do wish they had WiFi, but I understand they may be keeping their costs down. However, I was given a pre-loaded SIM card to make calls to my family, which was a thoughtful gesture."

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

Bagno molto piccolo. Se si arriva a tarda serata non mi pare ci siano ristoranti dove mangiare (c'è una fast food a 600m ma forse facilmente raggiungibile poichè il vialone delle bancarelle (dove c'è il locale) è chiuso.

Měli jsme to trochu dál od Velké pláže a začátek Velké pláže je přeplněný turisty, tak jsme museli každý den jezdit autem. Ke starému městu také daleko. Ale bylo to blízko k hezké skalnaté části a živé ulici na začátku Velké pláže. V ubytování mne překvapila společná kuchyň, ale nakonec jsme si zvykli a byla možnost poznat i naše sousedy, hehe. 👍🏻

"I had a simply wonderful time here. The host is exceptionally kind and always available for any questions, at any time of day. The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find."

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

"Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja valmis auttamaan sekä selvittämään asioita tarvittaessa. Aamiaisella oli tarjolla leipää, muroja/mysliä, croisantteja, mehua, maitoa ja kahvia, teetä ja kaakaota. Yhteisessä keittiössä oli käytössä jääkaappi, pari mikroa ja astioita. Majoitus sijaitsee ihan ytimessä, vierestä lähtee cabin ylös, jossa sijaitsee alamäkipyörä reitit. Naapurissa myös tourist office, jonka alakerrassa parkkihalli autoille. Naapurissa myös ravintola, apteekki ja kaksi ruokakauppaa."

Mikäli laitoit jääkaappiin jotain omaa tuli se nimikoida ja laittaa päivämäärä jolloin lähtee. Joku kuitenkin joi minun mehuni, vaikka siinä oli kaikki tarvittavat tiedot olemassa 😕

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"I\nLike to help clean and comfortable.The beds were and how obviously quiet they were meant to be.And the balcony was amazing addition. I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"

"Talo on rauhallisella paikalla lähellä satamaa ja keskustaa. Talo on erittäin mukava, kun paikalla on kaksi pariskuntaa, jotka tuntevat toisensa. Silloin molemmille on oma huone yläkerrassa eikä silloin häiritse se, että alakerrassa sijaitsevat keittiö, suihku, WC ja sauna ovat yhteisiä tiloja."

Yläkerrassa sijaitseviin huoneisiin johtavat portaat ovat erittäin jyrkät, jopa jyrkemmät kuin tyypilliset suomalaisen kesämökin yläkertaan johtavat portaat. Nämä ovat hankalat hyväjalkaisellekin vieraalle, joten paikkaa ei voi suositella iäkkäämmille, joilla on nivelissä kulumia tai jalat eivät ole kovin ketterät jostain muusta syystä. Tätä hankaluutta lisää vielä se, että asuin- ja saniteettitilat ovat eri kerroksissa.

"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

No communal areas. The kitchen was tiny and no where sit and eat. There is a small space in the top floor to make a cup of tea but not suitable to eat and not near the kitchen. The shared bathroom shower is too complicated, the water sprays out of all the taps and was cold

"Good place for a getaway with your wife and children; nevertheless, it's pretty far from the city, so you would need to have a car. There are several villas with lots of rooms."

It's noisy in the morning. It may not be comfortable for the guys who like to sleep for a long time in the high season. Also, our apartment has a separate balcony from the other room, so if your neighbors like to smoke in the morning, you will feel that as well. But if you are an early bird, this pearl is for you.
