"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. "A short stroll from the main drag and market, but without the noise.A fully equipped kitchen, a shady garden, plenty of toilets and showers hot aswell, in the dormitory section,all kept clean throughout day, for breakfast i recommend you go to Kumba Lodge, turn left and walk along the beach for 15 minutes, youll see it up on the ridge, dont forget to take sandals as the sand maybe too hot to walk on coming back.Nice secluded back garden.You can walk to Barra, by turning left, walk atound the headland, places yo eat and drink there, anout 8kms one way, take plenty of water."

"You get your own private (albeit tiny) cabin, clean toilets and the staff was helpful and friendly. Quiet location"

Inside the cabins gets really hot during the day. Not a single spoon in the hole place to eat my soup. To enter the compound there's a very awkward padlock where you have to drop everything on the floor to open the door. Not good if the floor is wet or in the darkness of night

"Entinen olympiakylä, eli oma tunnelmansa tässä ajatuksessa. Henkilökunta erittäin mukavaa. Järjestyssääntöjen mukainen hiljaisuusaika piti hyvin."

Huone oli pieni ja kuuma, pesuaineita ei ollut. Äänieristys huonoa.

Sänky nitisi aina kun vähänkin liikkui se oli todella ärsyttävää.

"Hostelli oli erinomainen ja viihdyin siellä muutaman yön. Sijainti oli hyvä, huone siisti ja palvelut löytyy läheltä. Omistaja oli mukava ja avulias. Kannattaa vuokrata joku kulkupeli ja tutustua saareen sillä se on todella upea! Itse vuokrasin polkupyörän millä oli helppo kiertää lähialueita."

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."
