"Friendly staff, comfy rooms, great location, excellent food,"

"The team were very friendly and a great support with questions we had. We were met at the airport terminal and driven to the hotel using the free shuttle service. The room was really spacious and clean and breakfast was a great selection. We had asked for help with something very specific which wasn't part of the hotel and the team said to leave it with them and they'd call the room when they had the answer and, they did that!"

"Sijainti on erinomainen, ihana ranta vain kadun toisella puolella. Muutama kiva ravintola lähistöllä ja taksit aivan vieressä. Aamupala on toimiva, riittävän monipuolinen. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja palvelualtista."

Huone oli pimeä, ainoan näkymän ulos tarjosi vessan/kylpyhuoneen ikkuna. Parveke/terassi sijaitsi tosiasiassa hotellin käytävällä eli ei ole yksityinen.

"Hyvä aamiainen viihtyisässä ruokasalissa. Hotelli oli sisältä todella kaunis ja vanhanaikainen sisustus loi arvokkuutta."

Huoneessa ei ollut hyvä varustelutaso, muun muassa teen ja kahvin keittämismahdollisuutta ei ollut.

"The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There was a hot, good pressure shower. It’s in a great location for the bus station. The breakfast, which was 5€ extra each, was especially delicious and really set us up for the day."

Huone oli melko ahdas ja pimeähkö. Myöskin näkymä ei ollut vuorille kuten varauksessa luki. Ikkuna oli ainoastaan vessassa ja se oli viereiseen taloon.

Please note the hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the main square and public taxis are very few. To get around, you need to have a Mongolian SIM to use the taxi apps, master the bus system, of hitchhike

"Todella viehättävä hyvin hoidettu majoituspaikka, kivoja pieniä yksityiskohtia kauniisti laitetussa ympäristössä. Hienot maisemat ja lähellä pitkää hiekkarantaa. Kävelyetäisyydellä useita ravintoloita ja rantabaareja. Henkilökunta sai aikaan tervetulleen olotilan."

Uima-allas melko pieni ja ruokailutilan keskellä -kivan näköistä mutta hieman epäkäytännöllistä.

Some of the bathrooms should be renovated, one leaked water even to the mainroom, which was dangerous. Even others have humidity damages and small cockroaches. I was twice bitten by insects during the night, probably bedbugs or ants, and had to ask the staff to spray my room again. Some of the sheets are obviously not pure cotton and itchy.

Swimming pool is only for ladies

"Location is great, and rooms are nice and bed is good. Only the bathroom was old fashioned in the old rooms."

The food in the restaurant is ok but not the best and the waiters are slow. The breakfast is very poor and it is better to eat outside at 100% Natural. The reception did no tell us about the yoga which we missed. Also that did not tell us that we should book the whale trip in advance because now it was sold out and we had to book a private trip.

"Aamiainen oli hyvä, tummempaa leipää olisin kaivannut. Tiedot laktoosittomista ja gluteenittomista tuotteista puuttui kokonaan. Itse olen laktoosi-intolerantikko, joten en käyttänyt tarjolla olevia maitotuotteita lainkaan."

Hotellin tiedoissa mainittiin spa-osasto, mutta vasta paikan päällä minulle selvisi, että palvelu oli lisämaksullinen niille, jotka olivat varanneet standard-huoneen.

"We stayed in a club room which gave us access to the Club Lounge. The lounge was excellent great food all day and the staff were exceptional. When you consider we were trapped in the Hotel because of the war we could not have been in a better place. Everyone was caring and so helpful. Wonderful Hotel made so by the staff"

"Our NGO had a conference in the hotel. the staff was excellent in preparing the conference room and addressing out needs. The conference catered food was excellent. I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and had breakfast every day. After the first 2 days, I realized that one could order eggs or omelet. Which was fine but why didn't they tell me at the beginning? Fruit selection was good. Coffee was also good. the wam milk for coffee was frequently empty but refilled on request."

"The room and around fit to the explanation and pictures. Breakfast was basic and tasty. We came in October when season is over. The owner cook a dinner for us. It was quite expensive (30 euro par person taking a fish, 15 - with no fish), but tasty. Wine was exceptional. It was better then drive in the dark to the restaurant and back (the road is not easy even during the daylight). Adrian made the welcome. Very nice guy with good English. The owner, Vasko (sorry if a spell the name wrongly) is very nice guy. Able to speak Russian. Show us the winery. The wine is exceptional. Very quite place. The views are stunning."

The only one thing was not OK - in one of the rooms (we took 2) water in the shower drains poorly - floor was full of water.

"The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are clean and spacey. The bed is very comfortable and the internet is fast. The staff is very friendly and also gives tips for sightseeing tours. Breakfast is also available around noon. The quality-price relation is very good for this hotel. The fact I did not have remote for the gate to open the gate, had to rely on a car horn.

"During our stay, my wife fell ill. Diagnosed with severe malaria, she was transferred from the over-worked Moroni public hospital to a private clinic (at the hotel’s initiative). Over the next week, the Retaj’s staff treated us both as family and could not have been more helpful."

"Loistavalla sijainnilla pääkadun varrella. Hyvät huoneet ja aamupalat. Kaupat, ravintolat ja nähtävyydet heti oven ulkopuolella, samoin kuin joen rannan lauttayhteydet. Viikonlopun iltoina hieman kantautui huoneeseen ääntä kävelykaduksi muutetulta tieltä. Henkilökunta varsin auttavaista ja myös pesulapalvelu toimi hyvin ja edullisesti."

The weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant catering for breakfasts and all meals: the place that looks like a canteen, is not welcoming. The prices for food are for too expensive. The food is good quality. Spiritless Hotel as it feels very empty.
