Taste the traditional Hungarian cuisine, or chose from a wide range of international gourmet dishes. The Café offers a wide choice of ice cream, fruit plates, home-made desserts, cakes, and a wide variety of coffee and tea. Throughout the year many special occasions provide the opportunity to organize gastronomical events at the Senator Ház, like the Carnival Wine Tasting in February, Easter Ham Parade, May Asparagus Days, Summer Salad Festival, Grape Harvest and St. Martin Day Feasts. A traditional Advent Tent is raised to end the year where home made mulled wine, Christmas punch, baked chestnut and jelly soup are served.

"Ihana pieni hotelli erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja riittävä, vaikka valikoima ei ollutkaan kovin iso. Huone pieni, mutta juuri sopiva ja siisti. Kylpyhuoneessa oli amme, joka oli ihana yllätys. Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja kaikki sujui hyvin. Voisin palata uudestaan."

"I only spent a night in this hotel. It is situated in the middle of the downtown of Eger, next to the Eger Castle. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was alright. The personal was kind and helpful. There are many restaurants, wine shop and a good wine bar in front of the hotel entrance. You can take a nice walk in the downtown and feel the history."

"The Senator Ház is located in the very heart of Eger, 20 minutes walk from the rail station and close to all the local amenities (the castle is just at the back). Our room had a beautiful view on the main town square. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was great value for money and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was also very good, the quality of food and a good range of options made it a lovely start of the day."
