"Huoneemme vaihdettiin superior-huoneesta standar-huoneeseen viikkoa ennen majoitusta. Tilanne harmitti, mutta huoneen hinnan hyvitys sujui hyvin. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä. 3-tunnin ratsastus oli hoidettu erinomaisesti ja henkilökunta myös sillä puolella oli erittäin mukavaa!"

"Tätä ei voi nyt suoranaisesti sanoa, että ei olisi pitänyt, mutta hotellin mainoskuvissa sai käsityksen, että tilan hevoset ovat nähtävissä suoraan hotellin ikkunasta. Tämähän ei pidä paikkansa, koska hevoset ovat kaukana pelloilla. Mainoskuvat ovat hämääviä, mutta sinällään ei vaikuttanut meidän olemiseen."

"Tilavat mukavat huoneet takapiha oven kanssa. Hyvä aamupala ja mukava henkilökunta. Hotellilta saa ihania ratsastusretkiä alennuskoodilla varattua. Sijainti täydellinen ja helppo tehdä autolla päiväretkiä moniin nähtävyyspaikkoihin. Viihdyimme kolme yötä erittäin hyvin! Tulisimme uudestaan."

"We were very comfortable, there was good access and parking. We appreciated the complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate facilities in the lounge. Plenty of room in the bedroom with settee and large modern bathroom. Breakfast was very good, especially the waffle maker :) Northern lights were visible outside. Food at restaurant was excellent."

"The hotel is in excellent location for our Golden Circle route. It is just under 1 hour from Reykavik and 80 mins from Keflavík Airport. It is 5 mins drive to Hveragerdi for food options but without the light pollution. It was set back enough from route 1 and the surrounding was remote enough for us to spot the Northern Lights. Room is simple but well designed, super clean and very comfortable bed. Love the bathroom too and certainly excellent value for money. It has an equestrian centre onsite but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to go for a riding tour. Breakfast was simple but adequate."

"Eldhestar is set in a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by nature, which makes it a wonderful place to unwind. We stayed only one night, just to sleep over, but the overall impression was very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, varied, and exactly what we needed before continuing our trip. The hotel itself feels cozy and welcoming, and we appreciated the calm atmosphere. There are also two hot tubs available for guests, which is a great feature, even though we didn’t have the chance to use them."

"The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom. The shower water tends to spill over onto the floor, which makes the area around the toilet quite wet. Some of the accessibility fixtures also look a bit worn. It wasn’t a major issue, but updating the bathroom would make the stay even better."
