"Huone oli tilava ja siisti, ja sisäänkirjautuminen onnistui helposti. Myös pesutila ja keittiö vastasivat odotuksia, joskin niissä näkyy jo rakennuksen ikä ja kunto. Mukavaa, että teetä ja kahvia sai maksutta!"

"Koko rakennus olisi perusteellisen remontoinnin tarpeessa. Huoneessa oli aika lämmin, mistä johtuen ikkunaa oli pidettävä auki. WC:ssä puolestaan ilmanvaihto puhalsi niin että oli paleltua."

"Sijainti Erinomainen. Kävelymatka linja-autoasemalle, keskustaan ja vanhaan satamaan. Silti ihan rauhallinen, vain vähän liikenteen ääniä. Keittiön varustelu Ruokailuvälineet ja ruoan tekoon tarvittavat astiat ja välineet hyvin saatavilla. Siisti ja toimiva. Huone Siistit ja hyvät sängyt. Sopivan tilava. Henkilökunta Ystävällinen ja avulias. Wc/suihku Ihan perus, toimiva ja siisti. Suihkukoppi tosin pienehkö."

"No shower gel in shower, only hand wash that was watered down so just remember to bring your own :) The door to studio 1A appears like it’s the main door, we had lots and lots of people knock at all times thinking our front door was the reception area and had to keep telling people to go to the other side of the building. A sign on the door would be helpful and stop this problem."

"I really liked staying here, it felt very welcoming from the moment I entered. Check in was early and easy good instructions. There were so many items just offered as extras. Boots, sandals and all sorts of shoes by the front door, everything from those spikey snow things you put over your shoes to umbrellas and coats. Then there was so much kitchen space, many kitchen gadgets (some that I didn’t know how to even use) and teas and coffee and a free food cupboard left over from other guests. Such a lovely vibe, very inviting a felt very community based. Also had board games and books. So cool!! Plus, my room was comfy, the heating was excellent even when it was freezing outside. And I could see the church from my window, amazing view. So sad I only spend two nights here :( Oh and the location was amazing, great for walking into the city and Perlan. I didn’t use buses but I’m sure being close to the station would be helpful. WiFi was also good btw"

"Small sulfur smell from my sink, but that’s common in Iceland and the bathroom sink was normal. I guess it was weird having the toilet seperate from my room but there was plenty that it was always free and clean so not much of a complaint"

"I heartily endorse it. Gorgeous, spotless hause.Extremely cozy beds are crucial after a strenuous hiking day. The dining area and kitchen are fully furnished. Everything you need to cook is there. Free tea and coffee, as well as daily cleaning and breakfast preparation for visitors. The administration quietly attends to the convenience of visitors and is open every day from 8 to 10 a.m. Throughout our visit, we were at ease and comfortable. Due to its close proximity to the city center, the location is excellent. ."

"myself and my 10 year old son stayed 4 nights at the igdlo. the staff were super friendly and helpful. our room was a standard room with sink lots of space for clothing and moving around and importantly warm ! we were on a budget so having a kitchen with a Free fridge and cupboards where guests can leave what they don't need for other Guests was super helpful. When we arrived hungry and hadn't got our bearings of where shops were located yet I could feed my son a jam sandwich. there was lots of spices and cereal left too. we left lots of food for others when we checked out. this for me was Amzing as eating out is at least triple the price of UK if not more. I absolutely loved Iceland and having a really comfortable bed to sleep in after excursions was really lovely 😍"

"walls a little thin can hear guest late at night coming back from northen light tours and late night meals. But it wasn't unbearable guests where very good at trying to be quite but doors closing and codes going into door locks was annoying on one night but the rest of my stay was absolutely perfect. I wouldn't mark this place low at all 8 out 10 if your sight seeing and need to keep costs low this is perfect and Staff very kind."
