Hvolsvöllurissa sijaitsevassa Midgard Base Campissä on baari ja terassi. Hostellissa on sen lisäksi gourmet-pöytä sekä yhteiskäytössä oleva keittiö ja matkaalue. "Aivan mahtava henkilökunta. Erityiskiitos Olgalle, joka antoi meille erinomaisia vinkkejä paikallisista aktiviteeteista. Hotelli ja huoneet todella siistejä. Huoneissa ei vessoja eikä suihkuja mutta niitä oli tarpeeksi yhteisessä käytössä. Sauna ja kuuma-allas ovat tosi mukava bonus. Lisäksi hotellissa on yhteiskeittiö, mikä oli kätevä siinä kohtaa kun ravintolahinnat alkoivat hirvittämään 😆"

"It has a lot of things to do! Several common areas. Staff is very nice! Breakfast and dinner were fine too! Sauna and jacuzzi were very nice !"

"Everything is kept very clean, the bed setting was comfortable (I had the best sleep ever), the whole hostel ambience was beautiful, they have their own restaurant and market was not too far away so there is no need to worry about food, and the best part was the outdoor hot bath -- so cozy and we were very lucky to see aurora during that night at the bath, it was magical. Its a plus that they have a mini kitchen for us to use"
"The stairs to the upper bunk bed is 90 degree vertical so its quite dangerous to go down from."
"Everything is great here! Gina welcomed us with a smile and showed us around; she really made us feel like at home. The rest of the personnel were also great and very nice! The place is very cozy and it is in a perfect place to see the Aurora. The restaurant is also amazing; really recommend to try the Char!"

"Beautiful view from room. Clean & spacious bedroom. We were gifted a mug which was lovely as it was my fiancés 30th birthday the day we checked in! Hot tub & sauna to use! Games to play with a drink in the lounge which was great Great spot prior to snowmobiles with Southcoast adventures"

"The facilities are incredible — I think it’s the perfect combination between a typical hostel and something a bit more upgraded! Comfortable beds with privacy, plenty of space to store your belongings, only a few people per room, separate bathrooms for women and men — everything is amazing. I want to make a special mention to Gina. All the staff were very kind, but she was incredible at all times — always willing to help and give recommendations. She gave us a tour of the hostel and is simply charming. Regarding the location: we saw the Northern Lights two nights in a row. You need to let your eyes adjust to the dark and maybe walk about 10 minutes away from the hostel, out of the light — I guarantee you’ll see incredible auroras."
