This family-run B&B is in the heart of Monterosso, one of the Cinque Terre villages along the Ligurian coast. Da Cesare offers air-conditioned rooms and a buffet breakfast including homemade cakes. Affittacamere Da Cesare is actually the home of the owner's grandmother. You can admire old photos of Monterosso and its people and traditions. Rooms have an elegant design with wood floors and different colour schemes. Each one comes with a TV, minibar and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Monterosso Train Station is 10 minutes' walk away for trains to other Cinque Terre villages. The surrounding area is full of traditional restaurants and the seafront promenade is 400 metres away.

"Loistosijainti, idyllinen vanha talo, joka kunnostettu pieteetillä. Meillä oli ylin kerros, jossa ihastuttava huone. Perheen pitämä majoitus, tunsimme olomme kotoisaksi ja tervetulleiksi isännän kertoessa mukavia juttuja perheensä menneisyydestä kylässä."
"Olimme varanneet neljä yötä, olisi ollut mukava, jos pyyhkeet olisi vaihdettu edes kerran. Siivous hoidettiin erinomaisesti muuten."

"Just the guests that were very late coming in with loud voices - a sign in the hall to request guests be quite after a certian time to respect all guests would be ideal - it wasnt a deal breaker - loved the place but it woke us and kept us awake for quite sometime ( just some "even better if" feedback)"

"-Excellent location!! A very short walk to the public beach and many good restaurants. -Not difficult to get to the site from the train station -Room cleaning was great -A beach bag and towels was provided, which was excellent and much appreciated -The host was incredibly kind"
"-Even with windows and doors closed, the room was not very soundproof. We were woken by 9am every morning from the staff chatting. Normally, it would not be an issue, but we were hoping for some extra rest. -Breakfast was confusing. In some places, it says it is available, and in others, it says it is not. It was not offered to us, but other guests were able to get it. It is probably best to ask the host about it when you book your stay. -Very minor, but additional water bottles would have been great"
"Great location in the heart of old town Monterosso - very handy for a wide choice of places to eat. We loved Cinque Terre - great walks with fantastic views - but not for the feint hearted! Ideal spot to stay and explore the whole area with easy trains back after a walk. The B&B was perfect to come back to, great host with helpful local knowledge. Room well equipped and very clean"
