All rooms at the Sonia come with air conditioning and cool tiled floors, and most rooms feature a private bathroom. On the ground floor there are vending machines for snacks and drinks. Albergo Sonia is located in a residential neighborhood full of shops, cafes and weekend markets. The area offers good public transport links. The tram journey to the historic centre of Florence lasts approximately 10 minutes. The Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer hospital can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.

"Had an absolutely lovely service at the reception, unfortunately I cannot recall her name, lovely lady. Free luggage storage, clean rooms and private rooms, and within walking distance to bus stand. There was a trade union action by the transport services during our stay (by entire Italy- for Ghaza) and we even walked from Florence city Center to the hotel (which was about 3km I believe) The price was very reasonable for the location and the amenities. There is a shared space in the ground floor where you can buy coffee from a dispenser and heat meals with a microwave. There are supermarkets nearby. Highly recommend the space to all travellers visiting Florence"

"It looks like your grandma’s house in the 60s but has everything you need. Comfortable bed, AC, good shower. It’s a good place to stay cheap when you only need a bed to sleep in and are out the whole day. Location- 3 mins walk to the tram and buses There is a nice Cafè downstairs It was better than expected"
