"Our stay in Tamba-Sasayama was absolutely magical. The house itself was a masterpiece — traditional on the outside, yet elegant and modern inside. The highlight was definitely the bathroom: a stone bath that felt like a private spa carved into the heart of Japan. Sitting in warm water surrounded by smooth stone after exploring the old town was simply unforgettable. Tamba-Sasayama itself is an incredible hidden gem — full of beautifully preserved old houses, narrow streets, and deep history. Visiting the castle and the former Samurai residence gave us a real sense of Japan’s past. The whole town has a quiet, timeless atmosphere that makes you feel completely at peace. It was the perfect combination of culture, comfort, and authenticity. We would come back in a heartbeat."

She spent a generous amount of time going over the guesthouse, answered questions about our plans during our stay, and was incredibly helpful overall. The place itself was stunning with a garden view and an enormous bathtub we used every day. The place is incredibly well appointed with everything one needs for their stay. They thought of everything. We slept well and loved our time in Tamba and the surrounding area. We hope to come back some day and stay at Yasoichi again."

With the stunning ofuro and various high-end appliances, it appears no expense was spared.
