Long Set Resort

"Sijainti oli keskeinen Long Set rannan laiturin lähellä. Huone oli todella tyylikäs ja sieltä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Käynti suoraan omalta terassilta uimaan erittäin pitkään uima-altaaseen oli ihan huippua🤗 Hotellin tiimi oli todella ystävällinen ja auttavainen kaikissa tarvittavissa asioissa 🙏"

"A beautiful beach that is kept really clean as is the whole of the resort. The staff are lovely and looked after us really well. Our Twin Pool Access room was excellent, very spacious and had everything we wanted."

"Unfortunately we hadn’t realised how close the hotel was to all the other hotels. So it was much busier with a lot of young backpackers than we had expected. But we realise that this isn’t the hotels fault. The only negative thing we found about the hotel itself was that when there was a hotel BBQ on the beach if you ate in the restaurant we had to wait quite a while before being served, because there wasn’t enough staff on duty to serve the beach and the restaurant at the same time."

"Such a beautiful place. Right by the sea. Everything is pristine. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is a beautiful place to spend a few days .. or a few weeks"

"Only small thing was the bathroom. See through doors in lavatory are not a good idea. Yes there is a roller blind but just frost out the window and give us easy privacy. Also a bit slow in providing replacement toilet roll."

"Nice and very good equipt rooms. Very well maintained greenery. Swimming pool located in the middle of the resort so It's comfortable to use it during wind. Stuff was very friendly"

"There wasnt a big choice for the breakfast, the food could have been better. Despite our stay in the hotel we choose to eat somewhere else because the restaurant was quite expensive. Coctails were not very tasty, probably the juices was not very well. The beach is not that impresive, there are better beaches in the island."

"This is truly a special place & we absolutely fell in love - after just one day, we changed our plans to double the length of our stay! Best decision ever. The staff here is absolutely wonderful. Every single person was friendly, helpful & made us feel so welcome. The resort itself is beautiful & very well taken care of. We saw a lot of other hotels/resorts on the island & were very glad to be at Long Set. We are vegans & the breakfast staff was so accommodating & made us great vegan breakfasts. Thank you again to all of the wonderful people who made our stay so magical - we truly appreciate it & can't wait to come back!"

"A cozy and comfortable hotel right on the beach. Pleasant one-story cottages and several swimming pools (though it's unclear why they're needed given the magnificent "Maldivian" beach nearby). The breakfast is a bit repetitive, but overall quite good. The beach is simply magnificent!"

"In the evening the restaurant was a bit hit and miss with service. Starters came out before mains and one evening my husband had finished his food before I got mine."

"Fantastic location, right by the pier. We had a standard room and were just steps away from the lovely main pool, beach, restaurant and massage cabana. The resort has a very chilled vibe and the staff are lovely."

"Food isn't great (but there isn't much to choose from outside the resort). Rooms are very simple, but this was fine for us - they're kept clean and the shower is fine."

"Beautiful facilities, very well kept! Rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the surroundings incredibly stunning. Beautiful beach with white sand and clear blue water. The staff were very friendly and personal and service minded. This is one of the betett resorts I have ever stayed at. Of course they could improve on a few things but nothing major. The gym was passable, not great but good enough to at least maintain muscles. The had a barbell, a smiths machine, some dumbbells ( although max weight 20kg) some upper body equipment and treadmills and a bike, lacked AC though."

"The location. I knew the island had a reputation to be a party island but I wasn’t aware that the resort is situated in between clubs and bars and that you constantly would hear the music coming from all directions. The days were fine but the evenings were almost painful, I could never sleep because it felt like I was living inside a club, my bungalow would almost vibrate from the bas coming from the bars. From 7pm and onwards it wasn’t very nice to sit outside, so it ruined my Holliday a bit as it would have been nice sitting outside the bungalow reading in the evenings. Now, this is no fault of the resort, it’s obviously not their fault but I wish this would have been made clear to me before choosing to stay with the resort, would I have known I would have stayed on another resort further away from everything as I am sensitive to noise and prefer quieter Holliday Food at the restaurant could improve, but breakfast good although they could improve the logistics of refilling during peak time (9am)"
