"We stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed for a couple more. The room/small cabin was sooo cute! With a shower that had an open roof. We loved that the cabin was wooden, so it had none of that damp smell you get sometimes. The room was fresh and airy and the shower pressure was amazing! The place was tranquil and so picturesque. The beach was also close, so that was a nice bonus."

"This was truly amazing stay. First of all the hostess was very kind and made us feel very welcome. She made us perfect breakfasts every morning, always including fresh and delicious fruits. The room was clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Great location, 3 minutes walk from the beach."

"The ambience of this small heritage hotel and the very helpful management and staff were wonderful. The manager even helped us to get to a hospital for some medical assistance. He spent a good couple of hours with us to approach the right expert. Rooms were cleaned every day and sheets changed whenever required. The closeness of the town, the bus stand and the railway station made it very convenient to get around. Some nice eating places were also close by. Jaffna and the hospitality and friendliness of the people will be remembered. So will be the comfortable five-night stay in Old Park Villa."

"This is a lovely place to stay. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with an attractive balcony, in a peaceful area. It was a bus ride away from Galle Fort , it’s a short walk to the bus stop and buses come frequently . The couple who run it were kind and very helpful. Breakfasts were good and ample. Good price for the laundry too."

"This was such a unique experience 🙏 Sumathi, the owner, is an incredibly kind person and made me feel completely at home. We often ate together, and he even cooked for me! He also took me to non-touristy places, which made the whole stay feel truly authentic. The house is located right along the beach, perfect for walks and beautiful sunset views. I loved relaxing on a sunbed in his beautiful garden under the palm trees. The Wi-Fi worked very well, and I could easily work remotely from here. Thank you for everything, Sumathi! 🙏"

"The location is great: right on the beach. We got dinner served on the beach, which was fantastic. The rooms were large and comfortable with good A/C and fine beds. Personel went all the way to cater to our needs. We had a good time."
