"The view is stunning and you are really in the middle of nature. So many birds to watch from the balcony and you hear nature all day. The host family are the sweetest and they really try and help accomodate."

"This was by far the best accommodation during my travels in Sri Lanka. It's easily the world's most beautiful balcony, with incredible views of the valley, Ella Rock and waterfalls. It's lush and green, quiet and you will be visited by hummingbirds, peacocks, squirrels and fireflies. The owners are incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. I extended my stay 2 times."

"We enjoyed our stay at Saddle Cottage, the view is incredible and we got fresh, traditional breakfast every morning. Even on our last day, when we had to leave at 4am they prepared some breakfast to go, the family is just too kind. The owner also offers a driving service with his own Tuk Tuk, which we used and were more than happy about it. The family really makes you feel welcomed and we were happy to be their guests!"
