Pool was freezing in August. Covering at night would probably be enough. Food mediocre and breakfast choices disappointing. Price difference on rooms isn’t justified. They are all identical just the views are different.

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

Sijainti aiheutti meille lukuisia tunnelimaksuja, koska halusimme vierailla lähes kaikilla saarilla ja joka kerta jouduimme ajamaan maksullisesta tunnelista kun poistuimme omalta saarelta

"Everything. In summer, when the site is full of campers, the view from the cabin would be obscured by tents. But, end of September, when we visited, our view was green lawns sloping down to the river. Lovely."

Booking.com told us it was 7 miles from Vianden. It is not. 22-24 depending which route you choose. We had planned to go the 7 miles back to Vianden for dinner, but 22 winding miles? No.

"Fantastic location. Great facilities and will be even better shortly with new tents under construction. Excellent meals and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Take the food and day trip offerings- you won't regret it but stay at least 2 nights to really enjoy the location."

"We just had a 3 night stay here. The cottage is very unique - little rustic with a lot of character . We enjoyed the full kitchen and were able to cook great meals and enjoyed eating outside on the large wrap around deck. You feel like you’re in a treehouse and very secluded. Yet you’re very close to the beach and town. We loved the big spacious bathroom and having hot water was a bonus! Jac-Luc was a great host and communicated well ensuring we were comfortable and had what we needed. We felt it was great value for money and would recommend and we’d stay again."

He also helped me with all my activities and recommended great places for me to eat at or visit. The place was great with all that I needed, fully equipped kitchen, delicious breakfast etc.I will add my ink and voice to the rest of the travellers to say this hideout is highly recommended. "This place is magical. It is suited in the beautiful nature, when you wake up in the morning you only hear the birds singing. But the same time you are the city center in a few muinutes. I love the community style. You are allowed to use the drinks and snackbar anytime and on the base of trust you pay at the check out. I arrived from germany, and without any more costs, a late check in was possible. The owners were very nice and helped out with any questions. I definitly comming back and I warmly recommend this place!! ;-) Thank you."
