Gargdzain historiallisessa vanhassa kaupungissa vieressä Klaipedaa ja moottoritietä sijaitsevalle Lijo-hotellille on tunnusominaista skandinaavinen järjestely, luonnonmateriaalit sekä kutsuva ja tyylikäs tunnelma. Puiston ympäröimän Lijon puukalusteet ja tammipuulattia luovat toimivan mutta kodikkaan tunnelman. Hotellin eri osissa on esillä useiden liettualaisten ja kansainvälisten taiteilijoiden töitä. Koska nämä näyttelyt vaihtuvat jatkuvasti, majoitusliike toimii näin samoin taidegalleriana. Samoin pesäpaikat on sisustettu taideteoksilla. Kaikissa huoneissa on pieni kirjasto. Osa kirjoista on samoin myynnissä. Lijo-hotellissa on sadan hengen konferenssisalin lisäksi kahvila ja ystävällinen ruokailutila. Ravintolassa voit maistella erilaisia gourmet-ruokia ja laajan valikoiman viinejä.

We had indicated that we would be with our 6-year-old son, we were given a one-and-a-half-story room, in which the cot for the child was located on the attic floor, which was accessed by stairs that seemed unsafe to us, so our son stayed in the other room, with his older brother. The room has a hairdryer and towels. Coffee and other drinks can be purchased at the cafe on the first floor. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was good."
