Hotel Katrina toimii Cēsisin keskustassa sijaitsevassa 1900-luvun alkupuolelta peräisin olevassa rakennuksessa. "Kannattaa lukea aiemmat arviota, niin ei odota juuri mitään eikä näin ollen pety. Kuumaa vettä tuli. Sijainti oli hyvä. Kuvissa näkyvää julkisivua emme nähneet, koska käynti on takaa. Henkilökuntaa emme nähneet."

"Huone oli siisti ja hotelli sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla. Sänky oli mukava ja suihkusta tuli lämmintä vettä."
"Vaikka kirjautuminen sujuikin hyvin itsepalveluna, niin paikka saattaa tuntua hieman turvattomalta ilman henkilökuntaa. Alakerrassa liikkui henkilö, joka kielsi lukitsemasta alaovea illalla. Sääntöjen mukaan alaovi pitäisi kuitenkin aina lukita. Jäi epäselväksi, oliko henkilö hotellin vieras vai ulkopuolinen. Joka tapauksessa hän käytti ruokatilaa pelihuoneena. Myöhemmin illalla ulko-ovella koputteli nuorehkoja mieshenkilöitä, jotka pyrkivät sisään hotelliin. Alaovi oli tällöin lukossa. Wifi oli täysin suojaamaton ja sitä pystyi käyttämään kuka vain ilman salasanaa."
"Since we needed a place to stay after a concert, the location was excellent - a 3 minute walk to the “Fonoclub”. Easy self-check-in, so you can arrive whenever you want, reasonable price. We are very satisfied."

"A proper modern european apartment to spend one or few nights. Extremely well equipped and clean. Contactless key collection, washing machine and iron, hair dryer, etc. We even found some tea. Very nice indeed."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
