Tämä guesthouse paikallistuu Kandavan pikkukaupungissa Abava-joen läheisyydessä 100 km:n tai noin 1,5 tunnin ajomatkan päässä Riiasta. Pils on yksi kaupungin vanhimmista rakennuksista, ja se paikallistuu Vanhan ritarilinnan raunioiden sekä Ruutitornin läheisyydessä. Hotellikokonaisuus tarjoaa viihtyisiä huoneita, pohjakerroksessa sijaitsevan kahvila-baarin ja ulkoterassin, jolla voit kesäisin ruokailla ja ihailla linnalle avautuvia näkymiä. Kandavan matkailuneuvontakeskus on vain 200 metrin päässä Pils-guesthousesta. Sieltä voit varata retkiä luonnonkauniiseen Abavan laakson ja muihin mielenkiintoisiin paikkoihin. Saatavilla on sen lisäksi maastoautoretkiä läheisiin metsiin.

"Well, totally different experience from Riga! This place is AWESOME as the staff. The lady who hosted us did a great and PERFECT job. We place is very well located, alogside the road, close to supermarkets and the castle ruins. The city centre can be acessed by a footpath uphill from the hotel on a pleasant walk. Bedrooms alright, very clean and organized with no problems at all. We liked so much, that we spent more time that we intended on the next city in a Wine Festival in Sabile that we decided to go back and stay one more night and with only 10 Euros more, they gave us an apartment with living room and kitchen. I wuosl easily go back and refer here. One of the best places on the trip! The city is not big and have not that much to visit but satying here, made everything much better and pleasant! And parking is right besides the hotel as well with plenty space and easy to use and access!"

"Oli jo tiedossa millainen paikka on kyseessä, ei siis mikään uuttutta hohkava steriili huoneisto, vaan camp- henkeä huokuva tunnelmallinen paikka, isäntä järjesti toivomamme tilan grilli iltaan toi tuolit yms."

"Aamiainen ei kuulunut. Hyvä sänky, suihku, siisteys, sijainti, pysäköinti omalla pihalla, pyörät oli mahdollista saada lukittuun tilaan. Leipomo oli kulman takana ja Rimi muutaman sadan metrin päässä."

"A proper modern european apartment to spend one or few nights. Extremely well equipped and clean. Contactless key collection, washing machine and iron, hair dryer, etc. We even found some tea. Very nice indeed."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
