Turaidan tiilistä rakennettu goottilainen linna on vain 6 km:n päässä. Rasas tarjoaa joissakin huoneissaan oman kylpyhuoneen, satelliitti-tv:n ja keskuslämmityksen. "Welcoming family owned accomodation, which is in the first floor of a family house. The host is an old couple, they don't speak english, but so kind, and really love the guests. WiFi is ok, and the house is just 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The apartment is spacious with a living room, bedroom, small kitchen, and bathroom. Everything was super clean."
"Communication problems, because of lack of common language. The apartment is old fashioned style, the bathroom also. But all was ok for one night."

"Огромное спасибо нашей хозяйке Галине за гостеприимство. Она позволила нам выбрать комнату, на первом этаже в нашем распоряжении была кухня и Галина очень заботилась о нашем удобстве. В последний день она даже попросила свою внучку довезти нас до железнодорожного вокзала. Обязательно остановимся у неё в нашу следующую поездку в Сигулду."

Mieliśmy dwa w pełni wyposażone pokoje, dwie łazienki, dostęp do kuchni i ogrodu oraz miejsce parkingowe na posesji oraz szybki internet. "Die Besitzerin ist super lieb, spricht nur wenig Deutsch und Englisch, aber total bemüht. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht. Es gibt sogar einen kleinen Kiosk in der Nähe, wo man sich noch verpflegen kann. Das wifi ist schnell."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
