"We spent 5 nights in beginning of July at Aurora Lodge, and loved every minute of it! Despite the weather being ever changing, it was such an amazing place to be. Karen, the owner, was very welcoming and her staff were very nice and helpful. The bungalow was well equipped, and although simple, had everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the cooking class and visiting the neighboring vanilla plantation, showed to us be the very passionate owner. Also just walking around the island, having lunch at the close by, very relaxed restaurant, Le Fafana (a must visit spot!) and exploring Iles Sainte Marie."

"It was one of the most spectacular places I have ever lodged. Travel there and back again was by a boat, all organized by the lodge. The little huts/rooms are well-kept and given that this place only uses its own photovoltaic electricity, offer all the amenities such a place must have. The food was excellent and I can still remember the strolls we took from there all over the island. The personnel was very friendly and the owner gave us a lot of useful hints for our holiday at the island."

"Depending on your neighbors, you might hear quite a lot through the bungalow walls, but otherwise, it’s very peaceful. Right in front of the lodge, you need to walk far out to swim, but if you head further right along the beautiful beach, you’ll find better spots for swimming."

"Lovely staff — shout out to Kanto, the assistant manager, who was so, so lovely and personable and just did everything possible to make sure we had an amazing stay (even when I was sick). Karen, the manager, also makes sure to check in regularly and help you to have a great stay. Beautiful bungalows, right on the beach. Great restaurant with a mix and match concept and lots of drinks — the best coffee we had in Madagascar, too! Incredible massages and offer of excursions and experiences as well. The team went out of the way to give us a really special welcome for our honeymoon, including decorating our bungalow and providing fruit skewers and cocktails. It was such a nice touch and really made our stay that extra bit magical."

"A beautiful place on a tropical island Not only has Aurora Logde got fantastic beaches but also amazing and well working staff. We were greated everyday with smiles and laughter and the staff did their best to accommodate our every wishes. The rooms were very clean and well looked after with beautiful beach views. After having had bad food on the previous places we stayed, the food there was a welcome sight and very tasty. We finally enjoyed every aspect of our holidays. This place is definitely recommended to all people visiting isle aux Natte. Thank you for this wonderful experience."
