"The location is quite at a very nice park, 5 minutes walk to the beach and also to Chedraui. Small but nice pool and friendly staff who guarded our luggage from the morning until the room was ready."

"The location was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We liked the added feature of Patti the resident dog and the 2 resident parrots. We could hear and see birds from our balcony."

"The location was particularly good for quiet privacy. In a city filled with overpriced hotels with a lot of hype, this was a bargain. The staff was very friendly, though a little short on information for activities: they knew only about those that they got a percentage on. The beach and good restaurants were all within walking distance."
"Some of the maintenance of the property has been neglected. While the pool was in great condition, the patio fountain was a mess and had someone working on it late into the night. Much of the paint is peeling. There are wiring problems with the lights and the fans. The free access on the TV is down to one channel and they no longer have remote controls."

AIthough an older hotel, our room was spacious and clean, with a built in closet and desk or table Window looking into the courtyard could be opened for fresh air. Celing fan but no AC which didn't bother me. Guests were mostly Mexican. Staff super friendly but no English so we used a translate app There is a swimming pool. The beach is less than a block. Owner was around, very down to earth. He acknowledged the place needed a 'tune up'"
"Only 1 inadequate light in the room No towel rack in the bathroom. It's a walk-up building but luckily we travel light Courtyard needed tending. No restaurants immediately near by."
