Kvanhøgd Turistsenter asemoi 8 km:n päässä Storefjellin hiihtokeskuksesta, ja se tarjoaa mökkejä, joissa on oma keittiö. Mökkien kalustetulta terassilta on näköala vuoristoon. Golin keskusta on 25 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Kvanhøgdin mökeissä on joko jaettu tai oma kylpyhuone. Joissakin mökeissä on oleskelualue, tv ja ruokailutila. Majoituspaikan läheisyydessä kulkee 250 km:n pituinen hiihtolatuverkosto. Lapsille on leikkipaikka, jossa on trampoliini. Alueella on hyvät patikointi- ja pyöräilymahdollisuudet kesäisin. Majoituspaikan kahvilassa tarjoillaan perinteisiä norjalaisia ruokia. Paikan päällä on sen lisäksi pieni ruokakauppa. Pienelle uimarannalle on 400 metrin matka. Nystølfjellin hiihtokeskus on 20 minuutin ajomatkan päässä mökeiltä.

"Great location for starting trips and many kinds of activities. Host is super friendly. Houses are not modern but everything is working and super clean: the place has a special very authentic atmosphere."

"The location in the mountains was excellent. The hut was exactly what I expected for a one night stay. It was quiet and I had a good night's sleep. I could park my motorcycle next to the hut. The toilet block with showers was nearby. There was plenty of hot water. I was able to have basic hot food at reception (chicken and chips) and use the free WiFi It was very quiet on the site and I had a good night's sleep."
"The site is old and is not brand spanking new but is fit for purpose. There is little food to buy in reception and there is a limited menu if you buy a meal. The WiFi only works in the reception area. I was leaving before 9am and there was no obvious key drop so l left the keys in the hut."
"Beliggenheten var helt fin i forhold til det jeg skulle gjøre på Storefjell. Deltok i en sjakkturnering der. Fikk kjøpt middag på Kvanhøgd. Dette gjorde det enklere for meg å forberede meg til partiene i turneringen. Hyggelig vertskap som sørget for at alt var på stell. Lett å sove om natta, for det var stille og rolig hele døgnet. ,"

"Es war ohne Frühstück. Die Lage war sehr gut für Ausflüge. In der einfachen Minihütte war nicht viel Platz, aber damit haben wir ja gerechnet. Und es war alles notwendige da. Kühlschrank, Kochplatten, Geschirr+Besteck, Kaffeemaschine, el. Heizung..."

We especially liked the view from the window, where we could see the beautiful lake. The room also had a sofa and a table, which made it a nice place for us to sit and relax in the evening. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic. We spent some time walking around the lake."
