Scandic Asker on avantgardistinen majatalo, joka aseteltu Askerin keskustassa vain 20 minuutin päässä Oslon keskustasta. Saatavilla on maksuton WiFi ja vaalein sävyin sisustettuja huoneita, joissa on taulu-tv ja jääkaappi. Aamiaisravintolan buffetaamiaisella on tarjolla monia luomutuotteita. Aularavintolasta voi tilata erilaisia kansainvälisiä aterioita, jotka valmistetaan ekologisista tuotteista. Mutkattomassa aulabaarissa on viihtyisä rentoutua lasillisella. Scandic Askerin täysin varustetussa kuntosalissa on aerobisia kuntolaitteita ja vapaita painoja. Toisessa kerroksessa on petankkikenttä. Askerin juna-asemat ovat 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Trekanten-ostoskeskukseen on 600 metriä.

"Todella monipuolinen aamiainen ja ihan perussiisti ja toimiva perhehuone. Saimme huoneen etuajassa ilman ekstramaksua. Ilmastointi tuntui toimivan hyvin, huoneessa ei ollut hellepäivänä kuuma."

"This hotel is situated just a couple of minutes from the train station. The hotel staff is really friendly. Room was spacious with a great view. Breakfast was in a form of a buffet with lots to choose from. At night you can’t hear anything from the outside so it’s nice and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay."

"Difficult to open n lock main door - seems v tight No floor mat to wipe wet feet when coming out of shower. Good to provide one. When I entered the venue for breakfast this morning, a Scandic female staff stopped me and told me to go to the other venue for tour group. I told her I was not in a tour grouo, she asked if I was sure. On second thought, I should have told her it was a stupid question. Wouldn't I know better! This encounter leaves a black mark on my overall hotel experience, which could otherwise be very pleasant."
"Room is spacious. The walking distance is no far from or to the Railway Station if exiting from the rear section. Mac Donald is just next to the hotel. Breakfast is super with good selection."

We especially liked the view from the window, where we could see the beautiful lake. The room also had a sofa and a table, which made it a nice place for us to sit and relax in the evening. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic. We spent some time walking around the lake."
