Tønsberg Vandrerhjem is peacefully situated close to Slottsfjellet in Tønsberg, just 5 minutes' walk away from the train station, 10 minutes' walk to the city centre and 20 minutes' drive from Sandefjord Torp Airport. The hostel offers free parking, WiFi and rooms with either shared or private bathroom facilities. All rooms with private bathrooms include a seating area, TV and work desk. Some of the rooms with shared bathroom facilities have an in-room sink. Many rooms are decorated with vintage furniture. Guests at Tønsberg Vandrerhjem have access to a communal kitchen and laundry facilities. Leisure activities include an outdoor area with a children’s playground.

"Isäntäväki oli oikein mukava. Ruokien säilyttämismahdollisuus yhteiskeittiön jääkaapissa ja ruuanlaittomahdollisuus olivat kätevät. Lakanat olivat mukavan tuntuiset, samoin pyyhkeet. Muut vieraat olivat hiljaisia eikä suihkuun tai keittiöön ollut tungosta."
"Huoneet eivät olleet kovin viihtyisiä tai tilavia, niissä ei ollut erityisen mukava viettää aikaa. Meillä oli käytössä kaksi huonetta, joten rento ajanvietto koko porukan kesken oli hiukan hankalaa, yhteiset tilatkaan eivät oikein kutsuneet viettämään aikaa. Olisi ollut kiva tietää varausta tehdessä, minkä huoneen itse saa eli juuri oman huoneen kuvat."

"Dit hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum. Onze slaapkamer had een mooi uitzicht op de groene tuin en het was er heerlijk stil. De inrichting was eenvoudig maar knus en de bedden liggen heerlijk. Bovendien is alles brandschoon. Maar wat het echt heel fijn maakt, is de ontzettend warme en hartelijke dame die het hotel runt. De prijs/kwaliteit is uitstekend en voor Noorse begrippen was het erg voordelig."

"We had a very enjoyable stay in this room. It was spacious and well equipped, including a small pantry that was very convenient. The bathroom was large and comfortable. We especially liked the view from the window, where we could see the beautiful lake. The room also had a sofa and a table, which made it a nice place for us to sit and relax in the evening. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic. We spent some time walking around the lake."
