"Pidimme erittäin paljon koko majapaikasta. Erityisesti ulkotilat olivat viihtyisät ja riittävä aamiainen oli mukavaa nautiskella kauniissa puutarhassa, plussana mahtavat näkyvät merelle ja alas kaupunkiin. Kaikki oli siistiä ja hyvin hoidettua. Emäntämme oli hyvin avulias ja huolehtivainen. Sijainti oli hyvä mutta vaatii kutoa kulkea jalkaisin ylös ja alas. Toisaalta Bolt toimi erittäin hyvin ja oli myös edullinen. Myös siisti uima-allas oli kiva lisä."

"Aamiainen oli maistuva ja se nautittiin ihanassa puutarhassa ja linnunlaulussa. Ihana pieni 8 huoneen B&B Montella Funchalissa. Allas alueella yhteinen keittiö missä jääkaappi astiat ja ruuanlaitto mahdollisuus. Aamiaisajan ulkopuolella voit itse hakea salista olutta, viiniä ym juomia altaalle tai huoneeseen ja merkitset ne vihkoon. Maksat lähtiessä. Busseilla 19 ja 27 pääset kätevästi keskustaan. Ihana rauhallinen keidas uima-altaineen. Ystävällinen emäntä tiimeineen aina valmiina auttamaan ja kertomaan vinkkejä ym."

"Excellent room and great facilities. Superb terrace overlooking the bay. Good location in quiet Monte neighbourhood. A big thank-you to the staff member who walked uphill and taxi'd a forgotten mobile to the airport !"

"Everything was good, but expect to do some climbing if you want to walk there from the city. The road is steep."

"It would be good a small fridge in the room. The walls are weary thin de we heated the neighbors. But it’s all god. The breakfast was the same alllll the days. Scrambled eggs and sausage and some cheese. But the stunning view made up for it."

"The breakfast provided a wide range of continental options with cereals, fruit, cheese, ham, choice of sliced bread and range of bread rolls. A coffee machine provided coffee options. The manager provided scrambled eggs for us as well. The balcony provided a view of the sea and was surrounded by trees, garden and shrubs so was a very pleasant aspect. The breakfast room was a large space with a range of tables spread out so visitors could have privacy if they preferred. There was also a bookcase with a range of books that travellers could borrow if they wished. I travelled in the off season, so it wasn't so busy but did meet a few other travellers which made it more enjoyable. The lady manager was personable and kind so that always adds to a good atmosphere."

"The water for the shower took about 2-3 minutes to get hot, but did get hot eventually. As the saying goes, "All good comes to those who wait"! I used a Bolt uber to get to the property as it was difficult to access from the Old Town according to Google Maps. Although based on the steep hills of Monte, it is possible to walk straight down hill to get to the town in about 10 minutes."

"Helpful and kind hotel staff. Clean room with balcony and nice view. Good size of the room A small common kitchen by the swimming pool, Kettle, small electric oven and microwave availability."

"The hotel is not far from old town. About 25 minutes walk on down hill. The problem could be walk back on the uphill. It could be challenging. However you can go by Uber around 4€."
