Casa do Baleeiro paikallistuu Azorien Pico-saarella. Tässä rannan äärellä Calheta de Nesquimissa sijaitsevassa talossa on parveke, jolta on laajat maisemakuvat Atlantin valtamerelle. Saatavilla olevien kiikareiden avulla asiakkaat voivat tarkkailla valaita ja delfiinejä parvekkeelta käsin. Talon olohuoneessa on taulu-tv, takka ja sohvat. Talossa on täysin hyödyntää keittiö, astianpesukone ja oma kylpyhuone. Asiakkaat voivat valmistaa omia aterioita varustetussa keittiössä. Vaihtoehtoisesti asiakkaat voivat ruokailla 1 km:n päässä sijaitsevassa Calheta de Nesquimin keskustassa, jossa on useita perinteisiä portugalilaisia ravintoloita. Asiakkaat voivat vuokrata majoituspaikasta polkupyöriä, joilla he voivat tutustua saareen omaan tahtiinsa. Cavacos-lahdelle on matkaa 1,4 km. Saaren keskusta on 25 minuutin ajomatkan päässä ja Baleeiros-museo 16 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. 25 minuutin ajomatkan päässä sijaitsevassa São Roque do Picossa on satama, josta on veneyhteydet muille Azorien saarille. Casa do Baleeirolta on 43 minuutin ajomatka Picon lentoasemalle.

"Amazing location, with glorious views and sounds. On a very steep hill but has easy parking on the flat. Possible to walk into the village if you are fit enough to walk back! A restaurant within very easy walking distance, but not always open."

"Beautifully located and well equipped holiday home on the sunny southeast side of Pico island. Possibility to locate whales in the ocean from private terrace-NICE. Small food store basically equipped in Piedale. Good starting point for trips to the amazing mountain plateau."

Located in the charming parish of Calheta, this wonderful accommodation exceeded our expectations and we had everything we needed to enjoy our week on Pico with our 1.5-year-old toddler. We were amazed by the landscape with banana and fig trees, along with the stunning views from the house. While using the binoculars, we spotted dolphins and a whale. In the evening, as we sat outside to listen to the ocean and look at the clear starry night sky, we were lucky enough to spot several shooting stars – a truly unforgettable experience."

"Eine rundum wunderbare Unterkunft! Wer es ruhig mag, ist hier genau richtig. Es gibt alles was man zur Selbstversorgung braucht und es macht Spaß in der Küche zu kochen. Alles ist wertig, sauber, liebevoll und mit gutem Stilgefühl eingerichtet. Der Blick von allen Seiten auf das Meer und das Fernglas mit Sitzplatz am Fenster sind richtig toll. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Laden für den täglichen Bedarf und dem - für uns - leckersten Kaffee der Insel. Für regnerische Tage gibt es einen Entfeuchter und eine kleine Heizung, was besonders zum Herbst hin echt sinnvoll ist."

"Gostamos de quase tudo. Só temosxa referir que o duche praticamente não funciona e a existência da banheira numa casa que pode ser usada por idosos, torna não só difícil como perigoso o seu acesso. É muito difícil e perigoso, devia rever a situação."

"Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend. Das Häuschen ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeit. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein kleines Geschenk in Form von Brot, Käse und Wein."
"Uns waren die Betten zu hart. Einen Sonnenschutz und bequeme Stühle hätten das Wohlgefühl auf der Terrasse abgerundet."
