This hostel is just 100 metres from Åre Train Station and the Bergbanan Funicular. It features free Wi-Fi and a popular restaurant and bar with a wide selection of beers. A TV and seating area are provided in each Parkvillan room. All have access to shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. Nordic-inspired cuisine is served in Parkvillan’s restaurant. During nice weather, guests can enjoy relaxing on the terrace. A light breakfast bag is also offered during high season. Åre Square with a variety of restaurants, shops and nightclubs is 30 metres from the hostel. Area activities include skiing, hiking and fishing.

"Ihanan kodikas majoitus keskellä kylää. Tosi ystävällinen henkilökunta. Oma parveke oli kiva lisä! Aamiainen toimitettiin paketissa majoitustilan jääkaappiin ja se oli oikein riittävä ja maittava. Paikka ei sovi herkästi häiriintyville. Alakerran pubista kantautui ääntä aika myöhään, MUTTA ei se meitä häirinnyt."
"Varaussivun mukaan sisäänkirjautuminen oli klo 15 alkaen, mutta paikan päällä kävi selväksi, että sisään pääseekin kun pubi aukeaa klo 17. Pääsimme vähän aikaisemmin kun kävimme kolkuttelemassa."

"Well-equipped apartment. The staff are really kind and understanding. Helped us when we had problems with the sauna and wall sockets. The price for five days and four nights was a total bargain. No problem with noise even though the apartment was on the top floor of a pub."
"The apartment can get quite cold but there is one external heater which does the job - just need time to warm up the whole apartment."
"Nice spacious room, good view and comfortable bed. Sitting area was great bonus, nice for quick meetings and emailing. Free parking and ski room outside. Good food restaurant inside the building. Comfortable, clean shower and toilet."
"It may be a bit noisy if you are s light sleeper, because the restaurant is on the first floor, right under the hostel floor, but it never bothered us after long ski day."
"It took me less than 10 seconds to immediately feel at home. The room is very nicely furnished, so I felt very comfortable in it. The breakfast system is great, as everyone can start when they want thanks to the prepared boxes. Coffee/tea is available at all times. The location couldn't be better and the communication in advance worked really well. All in all, I wanted a little time out for myself and I got it here. I would definitely book again at any time!"

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."
"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."
"Hyvin toimi sisäänpääsy kun ei henkilökunta paikalla. Tämän paikan pitäjillä täytyy olla hyvä huumorintaju, hauskoja yksityiskohtia sisustuksessa jotka saa hymyn huulille. Sijainti mitä täydellisin sillä kävelymatkan päässä kaikesta. Aamupala laitettu nätisti ja pieneksi hotelliksi nähden runsas. Ihastuin hotelliin jossa todella mukava henkilökunta!"
