Strand Hotel

"Sijainti oli loistava, metropysäkki käytännössä hotellin vieressä. Oli todella hyvä metrolinja, pääsi moniin nähtävyyksiin vaihtamatta! Läheltä löytyi myös aamupalapaikkoja, hotellin omaa aamupalaa emme testanneet, olisi pitänyt tilata erikseen. Henkilökunta ei vaikuttanut kovin ilahtuneelta, kun siitä kyselimme. Joka päivä huone oli siivottu hyvin. Muuten henkilökuntaa ei juuri tarvinnutkaan, tervehtivät ystävällisesti aulan poikki kulkiessamme."

"Staff are all nice and polite. We had a family room, 2x twin room, and double bed room, and I requested if we could have the rooms close to each other as it was a family holiday, and it was granted. Thank you!! A friend of ours left us some gifts in the reception while we were out for the whole day, and as soon as we arrived, they reminded us about it. They kept it safe. 😊 The hotel is next to the train station, which is so handy for travelling around Singapore and there are a lot of restaurants around the area."

"This is no a five star hotel but it was exactly what we needed. Great location with buses and trains within a few minutes walk. No hotel dinning but plenty of eating options within ten minutes walk. The room was comfortable and clean."

"Location close to Marina, 711 and food court across the road. Bed very comfortable sheets were soft. Room a bit dated but very clean and had all facilities."

"Location is excellent for Downtime line and an easy walk to the Dhobi Gaunt interchange. Our studio room was spacious. There were sufficient drawers so we did not have to live out of our suitcases and plenty of room to store our suitcases. The shower was a good size and great pressure. The desk was handy. The refrigerator was small but kept things cold. The concierge was active and helpful particularly as the entrance has steps and no ramp for suitcases."
