It had everything we needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Communication was great. The people of Charlotteville seem very friendly. "The door to the bedroom have shutters that cant be closed, as a result mosquitos come in. I would suggest placing a mosquito net over the shutters to keep m out or a mosquito net over the bed."

So reviews have made it sound like it’s a room above a nightclub; nonsense - there isn’t even a bar on site!! They really care about the service they are offering, and our room was spotless."

"Our stay was one of a kind. The property, it's location right at the sea, near the peer and yet in the middle of the charming village is excellent. Our cottage was very charming inside as well, with a little balcony looking right at the sea, beautiful seabirds, fishermen and sailing yachts. The island and its habitants does the rest: very charming, you'll see people fishing, everyone is very kind taking care of each-other and before you know them by there name. You're just a walk away from a bbq at marvellous Pirate bay, or lot's of other paradise beaches, the rain forrest, waterfalls etc..."

"Keep in mind that people have the habit of paying in the local currency (TTD, Trinidad Dollars). There's no bank in Charlotteville and the ATM is sometimes out of order or money (a limit of 2.000 TTD withdrawal). But you'll manage ; ) Our host Penelope is as everybody very very friendly and hopefully in the future it will be easier to pay your stay upfront by creditcard."
