La Grenadine is a 19th-century farm building situated in Gardens, Cape Town. It features a garden of fruit trees and the famous Kloof Street restaurants, coffee shops and pubs are a 6-minute walk away. The rooms feature a mix of modern and vintage design and they are decorated in a French Provencal style. Each room leads onto the garden, and the bathrooms include free toiletries. A traditional French breakfast including fresh croissants and homemade jams, is served daily. A number of restaurants serving a range of local and international cuisines can be found within 2 km from La Grenadine. "So tranquil, tucked away from the noise of Cape Town and yet in the centre of a popular area of cafes and restaurants. The gardens are dappled in sunlight with the sound of running water from the fountain. The room was spacious and light, with a comfortable bed and a hot powerful shower. The team seem to be more like family than colleagues. They make you feel at home, and are very attentive without being intrusive. Great breakfast options with fresh juices, tea and coffee. If you are looking for a home-from-home, peaceful, welcoming, comfortable place to stay then this is it."

"Absolutely amazing accommodation. In the city center, but in a green oasis. Beautiful garden full of flowers and of course pomegranate trees. Staff friendly and incredibly helpful. They allowed us to check in early and get into the room. We enjoyed our stay. The bed is extremely comfortable."

It’s peaceful and comfortable and perfect for travellers looking for staying in a cool period building.
