The location at Anse Royale is ideal, close to everything yet peaceful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. "A fantastic experience! The guesthouse is in a great location in the heart of Brazzaville, surrounded by quiet residential areas. Most importantly, the rooms were very clean. Special mention goes to the owners, Mia and her family, who were incredibly helpful and patient during our stay, even assisting us with arranging gorilla and Blue Lagoon tours. An even bigger surprise was the authentic Sichuan cuisine at the guesthouse – the best I've had in Brazzaville! I highly recommend the grilled fish and hot pot."

"The Apartment was very comfortable, warm, nicely equipped and has everything you need. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable with two nice bedrooms and dark curtains, so you can sleep very well. It even has a small balcony."

It is quite far away from the city but the Luas makes it very easy to get there, so it is really ok as a location. There is not much around, but the supermarket is close and some food-places too.

"Hotelli kätevästi lähellä raitiovaunu- ja bussipysäkkiä. Helppo tulla ja mennä lentokentälle. Edinburghin linnalle kävelymatka n. 20 min. Eli hyvä sijainti. Henkilökunta ystävällistä, hotelli tosi siisti. Huoneet kompaktin kokoisia, mutta eihän siellä juuri oltu kuin lepäämässä. Voimme suositella, äiti + tytär seurue."

Aamupala oli meille riittävä, mutta ei ihan suomihotellien tasoa.

"The location is very close to some of the best beaches in the region (Klein Knip and Grote Knip). Just ten minutes by car. You can also walk to some smaller beaches (Forti Beach, Piskado Beach, Kalki Beach) and to some very nice restaurants (Restaurant Playa Forti, Sol Restaurant, Kunuku Pachi Cola). The bungalow was very clean, very well equipped and the big enough for 4 people."

Though we asked for a bungalow with sea view, we first received one with a lateral sea view. After some discussions with the manager we received a bungalow that we paid for. Even though is written in the place politics, we found really unpleasant that we were supposed to pay for the electrical energy consumed. This should be included in the price.

"Ystävällinen henkilökunta, hyvä sijainti vähän sivussa rauhallisessa paikassa. Kiva pieni puutarha. Ilmastointi toimi. Kahvia ja pientä makeaa tarjolla ilmaiseksi. Parkkialue lähistöllä."

Hiukan vanhahtava sisustus. Aamiainen oli hankala syödä huoneessa pienellä pöydällä. Jugurtti ja mehu olivat liian lämpimiä. Aamiaistarjotinta ei kukaan hakenut pois eikä huonetta siivottu muutenkaan vierailun aikana.

"Olimme kahden hengen asunnossa vaimon ja tyttären kanssa ja saimme lisävuoteen. Siitä huolimatta huone oli todella tilava pienen keittiön ja mukavan kylpyhuoneen kera. Tämä oli toinen kerta, kun tässä hotellissa olimme ja todennäköisesti myös tulevaisuudessa, kun Tukholmassa käymme, vaikka 100 kr/vrk parkkimaksu olikin lisämaksuna."

Aamupala kuului hintaan, joka sisälsi neljä paahtoleivänpalaa, marmeladi, voi, trippimehu ja kahvi. Sillä kyllä selvisi auttavasti, mutta en mainostaisi aamupalana.

Le wifi qui ne fonctionnait pas sur mon téléphone.

"El hotel en general es muy bonito, y la piscina está muy Bien: Mis chamos no querían salir de la piscina, en especial por el pequeño "Parque" acuático que tienen en las instalaciones de la piscina. Las piscinas las mantienen muy Bien limpias, incluso fuimos testigos de la limpieza exhaustiva que realizaron a la piscina de niños. El personal de mantenimiento le damos un buen "pulgar arriba". Se nos daño la cerradura y la cambiaron Al mismo momento en el que lo reportamos, a pesar de que tenían "various casos de emergencia" que necesitaban atender. Muy bien por El líder de mantenimiento."

El desayuno fue un desastre. Cuando llegamos nos asignaron una muchacha para hacerle seguimiento a nuestra "experiencia" en El hotel y nos dijo: "El desayuno es a la Carta, así que no hay que preocuparse". La verdad es que solo habían 3 tipos de desayuno y eran sumamente estrictos (no se podía cambiar pan por arepa por ejemplo). La Carta decía "huevos Al gusto", sin embargo no había huevos hervidos. A la final nos lo prepararon (porque Les explicamos que eran para Los niños) no sin antes mostrar una cara de desacuerdo y "volteada de ojos" no muy agradable. Por otro lado, El hotel estaba casi full (hecho corroborado por Los mismos administradores / trabajadores del hotel), y la disponibilidad de mesas era escasa, en incluso se hacían colas, especialmente, cerca de la hora de cierre del restaurant (10a.m.). Como especialistas en Gerencia e Ingeniería de costos, entendemos claramente que el objetivo de servir "desayunos a la Carta", es tratar de bajar costos (no toman en consideración que bajar costos en la situación de ocupación en la que se encontraban significa incrementar estrés a su personal y al turista), sin embargo eso se puede hacer con El hotel a poca ocupación (quizas igual o menor Al 30-40%) no con el hotel a 80% de ocupación. La mejor manera de manejar la comida con dicha ocupación, es preparar desayunos tipo Buffett. Se lo hicimos saber a la Gerente encargada del restaurant, sin embargo la misma no recibió la sugerencia de buenas maneras.

Emme saaneet ilmastointia toimimaan, mutta huoneessa ei silti ollut liian kuuma. Respa sijaitsi ylimmässä kerroksessa ja välillä hissejä joutui odottamaan

"Henkilökunta hyvin auttavainen mm. taksien ja retkien suhteen. Aamupala oli riittävä, sänky oikein hyvä ja rauhallinen alue; hyvin hiljaista illasta aamuun. Hotelli pienen kävelymatkan päästä linja-autoasemalta (aseman takseja kannattaa välttää..) Henkilökunta tilasi meille taksin Matka-kanjonille ja sopi myös haun pois, suosittelen!"

Viemärin haju tuli ajoittain suihkutilassa

"Excellent location…very close to transport and shopping. Apartment was spacious and had the amenities we needed. The staff were friendly, responsive and very helpful."

The building looked a little older and some of the fittings looked like they needed some tlc.

"The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The apartments are comfortable and clean. Owners very friendly and attentive and easy to reach via Whatsapp should you need anything. Supermarket 5 min walk away."

The only thing with the place is that if you don't drive (like me), it's quite far away from everything (which I kind of knew from researching when I booked so that was my choice) There are no buses but if you're driving, I would say it's perfect for a quiet, chilled stay in beautiful surroundings. I would probably still go back just for a few days if I re visit Aruba.

"Everything was perfect. We got a big room with a view on the Tatras from the window. The staff was very nice, we had a great time at the bar as well. Breakfast was very very good. So all in all 10/10. Definitely recommended."
