Set in Lans, 2 km from Innsbruck, Der WALZL offers rooms with hardwood floors, flat-screen satellite TVs, and work desks. It features a spa area with a hot tub and steam bath. Free WiFi is available and free private parking possible. All rooms have private bathrooms with hairdryers and toiletries. Wooden furniture, a telephone and a radio are further amenities of the room. Guests can sample organic cuisine and regional products at the restaurant, accompanied by a wide selection of wines. Half board includes a breakfast, and a 4-course menu with Tyrolean cuisine and a salad buffet. Full board additionally features a 3-course lunch or packed lunches. A playground as well as a play corner in the restaurant is at children's disposal. There is a ski bus in front of Der WALZL, offering transport to the Patscherkofel Ski Area in Igls. Guests can observe the wild animals of the forests and go wild-feeding during winter.

"We really liked a lot about the walzl. The views were amazing. The kids really loved the pool and the bio sauna. The food in the restaurant was great and the kids room entertained the little ones. The dressing gowns and slippers for the kids were a really nice touch. The bus stop was nearby and it was easy to get to Central Innsbruck and for free with the welcome card. We would definetely return."

"We really liked the location — only a 3-minute drive to the ski lift. Parking was convenient, and the views from the windows were very nice. The apartment was warm and cozy. The kitchen-living area with the sofa and TV was especially comfortable, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The bathroom was great, with a good shower and the existing bathtub, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we liked everything. If the existing bathtub were converted into a jacuzzi, it would be an absolutely top-level bonus and would make the stay even more exceptional."
